Re: Iron Sight Offset Blocks
No reason you couldn't shoot well with offset sights - the downside might be if you want to shoot at different distances... Depending on how much cant is required to get your eye behind the offset rearsight it might not be as bad as this (or it might be worse) but if we assume that the sights end u...

Look at the Walther KK300. May be the best of the lot. I am sure the trigger is the best.

Re: New Rifle Buying Tips
I agree with the other posts above; there is nothing that says that you have to have the same rifle between smallbore and air rifle. Having said that, the FWB appears to be a very nice smallbore rifle, although I have not shot one before. There are good shooters who use them (Ryan Anderson comes to...

Re: shooting glass prescription lens (where to go??)
You can call Andy Renfro at Knoxville Optical. Phone is 865-525-9586. Tell him Ed told you to call. He is as good as it gets. You may need to send him a lens to get the size exact as they are never exactly 25mm, 37mm etc.

Re: Sling suggestions..........
Kev,
I had the same thought but only shoot SB now, too old and lazy to shoot HP. Perry is always an issue but we know that ahead of time. Just in case, I ordered a Jensen sling to test out and if it works I will be changing. See you soon.

Re: Sling suggestions..........
Here is a solution to the adjustment pins pulling through the strap. The only problem is you need to have adjusted the sling to it's final resting place. The only adjustment left is the small adjustment screw which is limited. It should not be a problem for shooter who have refined their position to...

@efoleyjr I read your post and I get the feeling you recommend the route of just buying a whole bunch of really expensive Centra apertures trying to find the right one. While this would work, it is probably not cost effective While I cannot knock the high end Centra apertures, they are great stuff,...

Re: contact lens vs shooting glasses
I have learned a lot about contact lenses in the past two months, which may be of interest to some. I have had dry eyes for a while. My tear film "breaks up" in about 5-6 seconds, and the bull turns from round to oblong. (This is with mild astigmatism corrected.) It is worse outdoors, but...

Just to clarify my previous post. The RGP contact is not for correcting my astigmatism per my Rx. Only a sperical correction. But the contact corrects most of my astigmatism by smoothing the corena so the axis is not of any importance. As I said, the corrective lens I use in my glasses has the final...
