Re: Which Red Dots Lately?
Last year at the Dixie sectional I asked the AMU armorer what they were using. He said they went to the Aimpoint 9000.

Re: New Pardini SP w/ integrated picatinny on barrel shroud.
Why couldn't you buy another scope ring, cut the upper part off to make a "block" to install on the rib to prevent the rings from sliding under recoil?

I spoke to the AMU armorer at the Dixie regional 2 weeks ago and he said they are using the Aimpoint 9000 pretty much exclusively.

Maybe it's the gun. Does it group any better with any other ammo?

Why do you want to shoot hardball with a slide mounted ultradot?

Re: Walther SSP or Pardini SP New
The Pardini, in my opinion, is not front heavy at all, especially with the weights removed. In the event of International Standard Pistol and Rapid Fire Pistol, it absolutely dominates. This speaks volumes of its good recoil and reliability qualities. In addition, it is very easy to scope or to rem...

The FWB 65 is an historical air pistol.

Re: Smith&Wesson 52 unforgiving...
Unforgiving relative to what?
Compared to a 22, any centerfire semi-auto will be unforgiving.
Compared to a 45, My mod 52 was slightly better scoring.
I tell people, when you shoot the centerfire gun you just do everything that you do with the 22- only MUCH BETTER!

Re: .45 long line to short line load change.
I just don't see any reason to change the load from 50 to 25 yds. I certainly wouldn't be changing any parts. With my luck, the recoil spring plunger would fly off and disappear. At Perry you'd be hard pressed for time if the day was windy and you used all 10 minutes to shoot. I'd rather avoid any d...

Re: I need a very reliable 22 for bullseye compitition.
I read that a lot of people suggest a Pardini I have one and it is great. It is very adjustable so you can make it fit you. One feature that most people do not talk about is the ability to change the grip angle from very "European style" angle to straight up "1911 style" with on...

Wow that is pretty work Mr. Keefer. I will try to contact Mr. Totts. With your mount, are you tapping the scope rail on those hammerli's? Will you be selling these? Will there be a point in the future that you would sell some scope tubes? Thank you, .:chuckie:. The bases are seated/buried into a cl...

You really need to try some Remington 148gr HBWC bullets. I never could get anything near their accuracy with any beveled double base bullet.
