I'd guess the biggest difference in velocities is due to the chronos and the way they are used. Brands and models differ, distance from the muzzle varies for different people. Also, I don't get the "reamed for wadcutter" thing. Barrel diameters will change as tooling wears, but what is a ...

I found 2 different problems with the polarizers: 1. The lens can rotate within it's ring. It is held in by an o-ring. Pry out the o-ring and use a drop of nail polish, or super glue to glue it in place. This is very tiny work. 2. The lens ring will rotate while firing due to recoil. A short section...

Looking at my OLD NRA Assy guide, it looks like you have to remove the firing pin first to remove the extractor. Looks like disassembly is the same as the Model 39.
I do not know any of this from firsthand experience, however.

Ultradot L/T
The L/T is not the model usually talked about when we talk Ultra Dots. Most are using the 4Dot or Match Dot. These have brightness controls and click adjustments. The L/T doesn't work very well for bullseye.

[quote="rstriano"]I have several ultra-dots and find the zeroing and locking of the settings all a bit weird. I am used to precision optics like my March scope and the black wheel over the allen key seems guessy. My Ultradots don't require an allen key and have brightness controls. What mo...

Ammo

In my Pardini, in a Ransom rest at 50 yds, CCI standard, Aguila std vel, and Aguila match are all about the same- about 1 1/4". Eley Tenex is better- 3/4". All were 10 shots.

I found that weight training and exercises helped me. I lift 5 pounds like I was raising a pistol 15 times followed by 40 squeezes of a hand gripper followed by another 15 lifts after every dry fire session(twice per day). You are dry firing, aren't you? I tried using wrist weights while dry firing ...

Suggest you avoid scheduling for May 14&15. The 15th is the tentative date for the Sunshine State Games.
