Or make a cushion from a piece of radiator or fuel line hose.

I bought one. A waste of money in my opinion. I get a better workout by rolling up a weight on a rope with a broomstick.

I'm having the same problem with the assorted ammo I've been using lately. The way I handle it is to not worry about slow fire; just cahmber another round. For Timed and Rapid I load six rounds each time. If I have a "dud" alibi with one called before I just quickly chamber another round....

I had a similar problem- the center of the group seemed to change laterally when going from slow to sustained fire. The problem was my failing to pull the trigger straight back in sustained fire. Cured by lots of dry fire concentrating on straight back.

Re: 22 bore cleaning

I read an article in the old Precision Shooting magazine 15-20 years ago about one of the writers who toured the Ely factory. They told him that they very rarely clean the bores of the rifles they used to test lots, it took too long to recondition the bore. Well I took that info to heart and quit c...

Not sure of anyone elses technique, but I use a 25 cal bore brush that is bent into an 'L' shape. The short leg of the L is the length of a 22 case or just a bit longer. You insert the short leg into the chamber and rotate it to loosen up any crud. Follow it up with a patch worm and patch. What is ...

If the grip angle is objectionable to a shooter, Dick Horton makes a grip that coverts the Pardini to the 1911 angle.

As others have said, you'll have to find out for yourself. I found, after trying sub-six and center mass, that sub-six is best for slow fire, but center mass is best for sustained for me. Give each method you try a reasonable time period (I did each for 8 weeks), and keep good records of your scores.

My experiences with Dr. Nick have been excellent. I recently sent him one of his Beretta Hardball guns that the original owner had "improved". It suffered from failures to extract. I sent it in February, but due to some medical issues didn't follow up until April. I call, left a message an...

Sometimes the inside of the rings are quite slick. Rough them up with sandpaper prior to installing the sight.

I scored really low 785 with the 22 and 756 with the Center Fire using a 32. I did not participate in the 3rd gun because I just received my 45 and have not had the chance to practice with it. I actually have not fired a 45 before. With the caliber 22, the difference between the 25 yards and 50 yar...

Ultradot has improved their turn around recently- it is now about 2 weeks door-to-door.
To the OP: Are you sure a 2 min dot is large enough? Especially outdoors in bright sun?

For a SWC bullet, you probably should seat on the bullet shoulder- not somewhere on the sides of the nose (ogive?)
