Re: age
Also, all semi-automatic rifles are "automatic weapons", everything else is an "assault rifle" and machine guns can be bought easily at gun shows (if you're a Democrat). If it comes to our quality press here in Germany we 'nasty' small bore shooters use almost always 22mm projec...

Re: Chest Plates on Air Rifles
Hi all, i would say, Rule 7.6.1.3 is here more important and is (indirect) valid for all rifles. ISSF Rule Book EDITION 2013 (Second Print 01/2014) 7.6.1.3 Standing b) The rifle may be held with both hands and the shoulder or the upper arm near the shoulder and the part of the chest immediately adja...

Re: Are there reports of catastrophic cylinder failures??
The marking of cylinders and manufacturers giving a 10 year limit has nothing to do with the ISSF. It's European directives and legislation. Hi David, as jet i have not seen such a European directive and legislation. There is a story behind this story and the manufacturers have an interest to make ...

Re: Are there reports of catastrophic cylinder failures??
I think you'll find that it's actually European legislation which is adopted by EU countries. Hi David, sorry, i do not understand. I can be wrong, but as fare as i know there is nothing adopted. What do you mean? This only empty carrying thing or the 10 years rule? As i said the first is at this t...

Re: Are there reports of catastrophic cylinder failures??
It seems that in Germany they cannot or do not wish to manufacture air rifles with fixed cylinders. I believe this is related to GERMAN legislation on the carriage of compressed gas cylinders in motor vehicles, which I understand require that the cylinder be empty. Hi Alan, no, this is not true. Yo...

Hi all, here in Germany shooting 100m small bore in the standing position is popular, so we need often to adjust our rear sights. The normal match .22lr will hit the target ca. 24cm deep, when adjusted to zero on 50m. On the other site adjusted to zero on 100m it will give a ca. 12cm height shoot on...

Hi David, the front sight which comes from factory with the Anschutz 2002 SA is the model 6832. It has two mounting screws (one is a dummy only for a better symmetrical look), a cant indicator, cant scale and the personal cant level is adjustable. Therefor it has two additional small lock screws in ...

Breaking News The reason for all this mess with the tanks is now well named. I have found a paper from the in Germany well known shooting equipment seller company Heinrich Allermann GmbH. In this paper the German testing organization TUV explains why they are not longer allowed to test these tanks f...

Hi all, the 8002 and the first 8002 S2 had no absorber or from Anschutz so named stabilizer. Only the last build 8002 S2 have this part, but all 8002 can upgraded with this stabilizer and to the S2 version. From the Anschutz site: The S2 version has improved air flow characteristics and needs about ...

Henri was boot flex I heard Was it this duck walk thing? For me rule ISSF 7.5.3.3 in this form is crap. Not to understand me wrong, I have no problem with objective measurement and testing. But giving a disqualification for not 'normal' walking is not really serious. Such a deciding is ever subject...

So sad. We have no such fine picture showing our shooters together with our 'Mutti'. And you all know, we have also fine shooters. But to be serious, the picture is fine, but there is one problem. It doesn't show the shooters in shooting clothing and with theirs rifles or pistols. I'm afraid that no...

Hi Martin, the only document i have found is a parts list including an exploded diagram. But it names and shows the trigger screws for sear, for the trigger (weight) and the trigger stop. Maybe it can help you to adjust the trigger a little better. But do not expect to much. This old thing is not a ...

As far as i know you have to go to the German site, if you will bid. The English site is only a translation. But beware, not all sellers will sell or sent to overseas. Ask them and ask for the transport costs before bidding. Sometimes the costs for sending parts to the US are really high, especially...

Hi all, felt pellets are easy to use and they do the cleaning job. The reason whey they are not general recommended is they do fuzz and this fuzz can go into the system or into the trigger. You won't believe it before you have seen with your own eyes how much fuzz can go in such an air rifle system....
