FWB 300 Air rifle problems

Is there a seal kit available for a FWB 300? If so, who has one for sale? A dear friend has one and it seems like it is not sealing up well as the pellets are all over the place and it used to be a solid near one hole consistently sort of rifle.
Thanks everyone!

The RWS 75 & 100 were great guns, FWB 300/600/601's are fabulous, the older Anschutz 380 would serve you well indeed. Feed them good quality pellets and then shoot the heck out of them....it WILL reward you well!

I had the distinct pleasure of shooting next to you at Perry when you won the service rifle match in 1989 or 90 (don't remember which year it was) Anyway you were certainly on fire and are a gentleman to boot! I was with the Montana team and we did not have a coach that year so I listened to YOUR co...

Re: Why new set of sights?

My thoughts exactly! Why does he need another set of sights? He just needs to keep track of the sight adjustments made going from prone to standing and standing to kneeling when adding/removing the riser from underneath his sights. After shooting 5 or 6 times he should have a pretty good idea how ma...

I had a Canjar light pull in my 52C, but the trigger is different from a B to a C and can't remember if the Canjar was made for a B. If you can get one you will certainly NOT be disappointed!

I use a Post Front on my air rifle simply because it replicates my High power rifles so the sight picture is the same. Doesn't work for everyone however.
On my 1813, I am still using aperture front's...mainly because I don't have any other post fronts to put into it.
Lazy of me, I know.

I usually do, simply so that I don't have to do anything gear wise as I move from prone to standing. It is already on.
Might work for you as well.

Great advice thus far......Many shooters use an aperture that is much too small. My front is often a 4.0-4.2 An adjustable rear iris is also invaluable.

Lones Wigger Jr. once gave me the advice to go to a larger clear aperture and as usual he was right!
Might work for you as well.......

How environmentally correct must we be? The lead came from the earth and all we are doing is putting it back a little bit at a time. So it came from the earth and goes back to the earth where is the problem?
That has been my answer to some do gooders I have encountered....

For hi power rifle training on my air rifle I simply put a post front sight into the air rifle to simulate my AR or my M1A. On a training day I used to shoot an A-36 target (12 Bull) at 50 feet in my back yard. Minimum was 5 rounds per bull. My rifle is a Feinwerkbau 600 using Meisterklugen or HN pe...

Your position looks fine...practice and more practice. My offhand really took off when I followed Wigger's advice...that being get a good air rifle and shoot A36 targets at 50 feet. If you can stay in the 9 ring or better you are going to be very strong in offhand regardless of the shooting disiplin...

I am a Master in both, distinguished in HP, AAA in Silhoutte and use the exact same position for all. My high power rifle is still an M1A. Haven't shot since 2009 but used to routinely shoot 193-195. When I legged out I had the good fortune of shooting a 99 with no tens on the target. First round wa...

1813 Anschutz repair question

Just replaced the extractor of my 1813 SN001 and now it mis-fires about every 3rd round, yet when I use that bolt in my 54 MS it runs flawlessly, conversely my 54 MS bolt runs flawlessly in my 1813. I am puzzled...any thoughts? Randy PS. Tried several tried and proven ammo ( Eley Tenex, Fioochi 320,...

Remington .22lr match ammo

I have recently acquired a case of Remington 6600 Match ammo that is a 70's-80's vintage. What level of Eley would this be comparable to? I have been told that it is equal to the old Eley Black box. Performance on target seems to hold up to that. Anyone have any first hand experience with this ammo?...

Still using an 1813 Anschutz that I got from Lones Wigger. SN is 001 and has an AMTU (Hart) barrel on it. Got in 1988 and it still shoots very well. In 2009 I shot a 1599 with Tenex to win the State Prone Championship. I DID have to have it re-bedded however, the AMTU bedding job finally got tired a...
