To be fair, having taken Scott to task earlier, I did find the TOZ link on the Pilkguns website: click "New Stuff" and scroll down to January 2002.

Scott, Can you perhaps provide a link on pilkguns.com to your TOZ page? When I was shopping I did run across it by googling "TOZ 35M" but I couldn't (and still don't) find a path to it on your website. For that matter, are there any other product lines at Pilkguns we don't see on the 'net?...

I understand that Larry's Guns is taking TOZ on from Nygord's as well as Pardini and Rink grips Don informed me the entire stock had been sold to Larry's when I tried to order some parts a month back, don't know whether this also means Larry's will continue to import them in the future.

Warren,

Can you share "how to re-grind the firing pin?" There's at least a few of us out here who would love to wean ourselves from the limited supply of replacement springs!

Lucky,

I think what you're referring to is the setscrew (white plastic on mine) in the plastic block the the drier kit threads into. No function other than to keep the block from moving around on the tube & no attention needed if you don't install the drier.

Think of it inside-out: do you need to hurry to thread the filled cylinder onto the pistol before all of the air escapes? There is one apparent disadvantage to the Steyr mechanical valve using a hand pump: when the cylinder is spun all the way on, the bleed valve bleeds off the cylinder as well as t...

The Steyr cylinder does have a mechanical valve, but the o-ring is located to seal "outboard" of the valve: threading the cylinder on, the seal will be established before the valve opens & spinning it off, the cylinder valve should be closed before the seal is broken. The air released ...

Yes: a locking wooden box, cleaning tools, 2 screwdrivers & 2 pin punches, an oil bottle and a spare parts package of alternate front & rear sight elements (all pretty crude by Hammerli/Morini standards,) a firing pin & firing pin spring and a couple of flat springs. The first two digits...

My TOZ recently received from Nygord came with (apparently a miracle!) an English-language handbook. I have run off copies with pages enlarged to 8 1/2 x 11, and will be happy to snail-mail one to you if you'll forward an address off-list.

I faced exactly the same decision several months back, chose the LP2 and don't regret my choice one bit. Plus or minus a few points maybe at the 575+ level simply isn't an issue for me, the loading gate suits my big fingers, and to be honest I preferred the looks of the unshrouded barrel. Besides, t...
