Thank you Juan Carlos and Albert I also think that the effect of the light depends on each person's eye. I don't refer to the reverberation, neither to changes in the temperature of the air. I refer to changes of light for the constant movement of the clouds. I believe that nobody has the bull-eye 1...

ligth change point of impact

When I shoot (in prone position)with sun I hit higher that when I shoot with shade.
Does an explanation exist?
How can mitigate the effect of the change of light? Filters of colors, polarizer, etc.

Feinwerkbau, sales dept. say: "The use of the dry firing device is not so critical compared to the firing pin of small bore rifles. Anyway, there will be more wear and tear on the trigger parts as ell as the valve and firing pin, but the wear and tear will be the same as when firing pellets.&qu...

simulate match pressure

It is difficult to find a friend with identical level to ours. First it would be necessary to define a handicap to compensate the difference. My best way for simulate match pressure is to shot groups of shots demanding a minimum score. If the objective is not reached in a group, I repeat this group....

Dirk Leiwen Pictures

Nice pictures. I believe that the air rifle of Dirk Leiwen infringes the rule 7.4.3.7 "C = Distance from center of the front sight to center of bore =40 mm"

Dry fire with a FWB601

I have just bought a FWB 601. I am very happy and I hope to improve my performance. To be able to train dry fire, I made it a very simple (and reversible) modification. I tied a fishing nylon rope, to the bar that mounts the mechanism (under the cylinder of air), going by the hole of the front screw...

1913 in 2213 stock

The 1913 are an excellent rifle, and it´s very used for the olympic marksmen of first level. The alu stock allows better adjustments, in all the positions, and it allows a lower position in prone position, without infringing the regulation of the 30°. I possess a 1913, with 1907 stock, and I plan to...

Polarisation Filter

I have a 1913. I don't share or I don't understand, the concept of the Anschutz catalog with regard to the use of the polarisation filter. I understand the principle of the polarisation filter, but I don't see like it can eliminate the effect of the reverberation. I have used it with success to dimi...

Another advantage of the raiser blocks is that it lowers the center of gravity of the combined shooter/rifle, maintaining an erect position.

use of rifle weigths

Weights in the rifle I want that advise me as using weights in smallbore and air rifle. Advantages and disadvantages. In prone is good, or it tires the arm.In standing it does displace the center of gravity forward, in air it is serious, in smallbore also? In kneeling it reduces me the oscillation a...

scores in air rifle Vs standing smallbore

In general, the scores of a shooter is higher in air rifle than in standing smallbore. In my case it is the other way around and I don't understand reason. I use Anschutz 1907 and FWB 300.

Re: horizontal wiggle in kneeling position

I have a shooter on our high school rifle team that has a problem with his kneeling position. His position looks very solid, but he has a small horizontal quiver that has become very annnoying. He is a very disiplined shooter and can consistently shoot mid 90's in standing, but kneeling is in the u...
