I have my LP10 on the block right now. I guess I was motivated to sell her by all the other recent ones sold. I shot an Izzy for the longest time before upgrading and actually had my scores drop while in the honeymoon phase lol. But it did get better by a little, which I guess is a lot in AP. I have...

Hold length for 10M AP

I was wondering if it takes a long hold to obtain upper tier scores? I have to get my shot off in that 5-8 second area to get my groups consistently tight. When I am more deliberate the groups open up even if the shot felt right, consistency goes away. I was watching world class shooters on the ISSF...

There was one for sale recently in LNIB condition. The seller was asking 1400.00 USD, I don't know if he got his asking price but can't see it being too much less in today's market. I looked for one but the prices were too high, considering for a few hundred more I could get an LP 10 (which I opted ...

Great read

As a new shooter I found this topic very interesting, and the thread a great read lol. It was nice to know that I am pretty much dead smack in the middle of the curve :) Just as a side; it's been like 5 years since some of the original posters wrote and was wondering how Axel has done? Did he make t...

Great story, one thing to note is this lady has been working in the fields for a long time and is probably stronger, healthier, fit and more flexible than a lot of younger more sedentary types ;)

Re: IZH-54M

Robert, what is an IZH-54M? I can not find any pictures or information regarding this pistol. I have an IZH-46M and I am slowly learning how to shoot it :) Your LP-10 would be wonderful. Mike I stand corrected, 46M is what I have, don't know where I got 54M from lol. Thanks for pointing this out. RK

Thanks for all the feedback guys, it verified what I was thinking/feeling. The Steyr definitely shows that it has more potential and just needs getting used to, which is slowly getting there (my reason for shooting this gun exclusively now). Bob I bet you're right as the Steyr's trigger is definitel...

Grace Period for new Pistol

I just purchased an LP10 and have been shooting it exclusively for about 2 1/2 weeks now. My scores have not come close to what I was getting with my IZZY 54M. It does show greater potential than the 54M though as the groups are tighter, but not as consistent (getting the pistol/trigger feel ingrain...

Thanks for the info, Kinda what I've surmised, just needed actual user verification. all the descriptions ont the web don't specify in the pumps specs list,
and needed to rely on the pics...but was hard to judge outlet size from a small JPEG :)

What Handpumps accomodate LP10 adapter directly?

Shopping for a handpump for my LP10. Prefer to have the ability to screw the supplied DIN male adapter directly into the pump (no hose). The older Axsor design allowed this but the newer one does not have enough clearance for the cylinder as it now sits below the gauge. Seems its designed more for h...

I have old eyes and tried all the different holds, stayed with sub six till I tried this: http://www.nitesiters.com/Nitesiters_Handgun_Night_Sights.html I stuck one on just the front sight just leaving a thin line of black above it and it has helped me tremendously. Its diameter is perfect for a B-4...

I know that this is a dated post but just wanted to say that I received my copy from Lucinda (Luckily she still had some!) and have picked up some great pointers. This is a "must read" book if you love to shoot :)

when I was actively competing in trap I went through a spell where I would get vision crossover. I used a darker tint on my weak eye and it was enough where crossover was eliminated. I don't know if this is applicable to what your asking. I would think to use the lighter for our dominant eye.

I think most of us have gone through this at one time or another. A lot of good suggestions have been stated above. The one point that helped me when I went through a spell of "chicken finger" was to focus on keeping the trigger finger moving once you initiate the squeeze. Front sight conc...

Postal Matches

Paulo, I don't know if you mean traditional postal matches or E matches. For E matches try: http://www.airgunarena.com/index.php/Competition_-_eMatch_Info http://www.targetshooting.ca/ http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php/board,66.0.html These are for 10M AP. These are a lot more convenient...

I have shot a lot of different pellets through my Izzy and have found the heavier ones to group a hair better from a bench. Holding unsupported it is unnoticeable. I get the heavier ones per brand model (ex. 8.2 over 7.0 with RWS R10 & MK's) as I need all the help I can get lol. I am playing wit...
