Re: Air Pistol Trigger Timing vs Area of Aim

Your hold is much better than you know. Much better than you expected. Don't hold until it is dead, immobile. Just like gwhite said, it is too late. Dead late.

Your hold is much better than you think. Let it flow, let it flow. Shoot while it flows. Trust yourself.

Mevo golf launch monitor as pellet chronograph?

Any of you golfers with Mevo golf ball launch monitors?

It is a Doppler.

I think it might just work for both golf balls, and at near distance, as a pellet chronograph.

Might work wonders for golfers and shooters.

Re: Speed of Izh vs. Steyr

The IZH velocity is very easy to adjust. Unscrew each compression hinge will give you about additional 15 FPS with each complete counterclock rotation. It is fun to shoot at 515 FPS like a LP10, cutting super clean holes. BUT, that high compression WILL destroy your compression lever. Very soon. My ...

Re: Starter Air Pistol

Hey, man. You must not have played with IZH 46M. It is a well designed, engineered, a force de resistance amongst aficionados. I had many years of fun with it. If you can shoot well with it, you can shoot well with any air pistol. A very robust, manly, pistol. IF you read your cited review, it gave ...

Re: Starter Air Pistol

krale.shop carries many Artemis products. email them to see if Krale.shop carry this new PP20. shipping is quick and reasonable if they have it. Looks like a good, very good pistol. Snow Peak is a former Walther/Chinese coop corporation. You can probably interchange parts of this pistol with Walther...

Adding JB Weld steel to 46m welded lever

My broken 46m pumping lever welded back by my welder friend is holding up well. Probably as good as new. 2000 shots so far. Feel good. But the DEVIL in me wants to make it stronger. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3r0UZ7txzs This guy is my type of bush wack mechanical engineer. JB Weld Steel tensil...

Re: If If I ever have the spirit of those Kyudo practitioner

They seem not keen on the score, but proper execution of each step.

Ritualistic execution of each step to perfection.

Where it hits the target, seems to be second thought.

If If I ever have the spirit of those Kyudo practitioner

If I ever have the detailed spirit of those archers, my mental aspect of 10M AP would be artistically elevated.

Re: Rink grip sizes

Another Rink modification you can ask is to extend bottom palm shelf back by 1cm to your wrist lines.

He can also extend side palm support back to match the extended palm shelf.

At no additional charge.

Re: Separating two-part Izzy grips

Also, I would change the grip screws. I would change the screws to a hex wrenched screw. Go to Ace Hardware, get some proper sized screws and washers. If the screws are slightly long, put in some washers. Screw in the screws until it touches the wood on the other side of grip, then tighten a little ...

All you see is all you got. Your mama taught you old fashionably well. A switch in time saves nine. Don’t be avant-garde. But you haven’t face a girl who is atomic yet. It is not what is in your wallet, but what you do with what is in your wallet when she turns atomic. Again, she smiles at you. What...

Re: Get a grip, man!

Just like Arnold Schwarzenegger say to that technologically advanced alien in Predator, "man, you are one ugly mama! " But if you are shooting 560-570, then you got your point across, who cares if it is one ugly mama. But if you are 540's, people might say, "what do you expect?'. But ...

Re: Front sight drops as match progresses

I agree with coach thirwheel. It is the gradual lack of focus on front tight that caused the slight drop.

For me, it is focusing on top edge of front sight, and not on the black abyss of middle front sight, over time, that caused the drops on shots.

Re: Separating two-part Izzy grips

To get grip off izh46 frame just unscrew, then pull frame out. You don’t need to separate the grip in two. I had putty my grip, did not remember to cut the grip separation line before epoxy puffy hardened. But learned you don’t really have to do that to take grip off. Just unscrew, mallet tap, and p...

Re: Caution when purchasing new IZH 46

46m and LP10 are my “mixed team”.

I shoot 5 shots IZH, 5 shots LP10, 5 shots IZH, 5 shots LP10,

Once warmed, there is NO difference.

It is all in your head. It is all mental, as I learned lately.

You can make them both do what YOU want them to do.
