There's a LOT of equipment in shooting rifle. And over time you will collect even more. You did not mention the rifle and scope stands. Look at something big and then get the next size up, as you will be adding more stuff later (remember Murphy). I don't have an outfit, and I have to cary things on ...

I was taught to remove the rear sight from my 10m AR. I had it attached to the rifle, and my coach said to remove it for transport, as it is too easily damaged if left on the rifle. Even if it would fit in a hard case w room around it, the sight is so easily removed that why risk damaging the sight....

I think the difference will be just the weight of the cylinder, and thus the balance of the pistol would be different steel vs aluminum and long vs short cylinder. This winter I started using a quartz heater to keep me warm in my underhouse crawlspace range. Makes shooting a LOT more pleasant. The p...

tip for 747 grip
The Daisy 747 is muzzle heavy and coupled with a plastic grip and you have a situation where the muzzle wants to point to the ground. What I found was that the plastic grip and the painted frame make the grip slippery, especially if there is any perspiration on the shooters hand. When this happens t...

747 charging procedure (edited)
durant I've had no problem with the charging lever on my 747, but I don't recall a "catch." But, the problem could be the valve. If the valve is staying OPEN then the charging action won't do anything cuz the air is just going thru the valve and out the barrel. So you might have a bad valv...

Just my opinion The shooting glasses give you a lot of adjustment to make it fit you. When I discussed this w my eye doc, she did not see the reason for special glasses, as she could fit the same in one of my older frames. So you can do very similar by getting a pair of regular glasses and have them...

It depends. Don't you just hate that phrase? But it really does depend on YOU. I was told by my coach to use the insert size that would keep the target in the aperture most of the time. This means if you have a larger wobble, you use a larger insert, until the target is in the aperture most of the t...
