I want to start with saying that all of these pistols are great, its just that some are better than others for a particular user..... In comparison to the Walther SSP here are some of the short comings I see from the others. Doesn't mean you will feel the same way but here are my thoughts.... Walthe...

I have recently purchased an SSP. After 500 rounds I know I made the right decision. The balance, the sights, the trigger and the grip are all I could ask for. I thought I might go with the Rink grips but the factory laminate fits my hand so well I have no need to change. I prefer this over a GSP I ...

morini 162 vs 162 short
I would like to hear the thoughts from those who have handled both and why you might have picked one over the other.
From what I understand the short has lighter weight, better balance and the velocity.
It makes sense, but is there something I am missing?

Thinking about trading my LP 1 for an LP 10....thoughts pls
I am having my LP 1 serviced and purchasing a new cylinder, that is going to cost me about $390. My challenge is do I spend an additional $650 and go ahead and trade to the Steyr LP 10? I would like to hear the thoughts of others who have faced this same decision and how they felt afterwards about t...

Looking to add a new .22
Not that I need a new pistol........but with that said. I currenly have a Hammerlli 208s, that I love and I also have a stock Ruger Mark III Target, the one with the 5 1/2" bull barrell. What I'm looking for is something more than the ruger and less than the 208s. This is what I'm thinking of: ...

Lee, I use a sub 6 hold. What I do is have the same amount of light between the top of the sight post and the target that I have between the side of the sight post and the rear sight opening. On my LP1 I use the 5mm front sight and have the rear blades opened to .169 inches or 4.29mm. Not that that ...

For starters, I have to agree with all the above comments. I got into it as a way to practice for free pistol and standard pistol. As it turns out I've sold my free pistol and only shoot the Hammerli 208s about once or twice a month. So what started out as a practice method has turned out to be my f...

Stick on 10M targets
What I am looking for and haven't been able to find are stick on air rifle targets. Even if it was just the black portion of the target I'd be happy. I use the Edelman's for air pistol and want to be able to put 4 targets on the back side so I can continue to use the same pellet trap. I have looked ...

I know what you mean, I dont the like the stock grips that came on my LP1 either. Without getting into custom grips you have 2 choices that I'm aware of. The Nill Grips which can be found at www.nill-griffe.com I believe they retail for about $195. Or the Rink grips, www.formgriffe.de they are $175....

I have always found it to be much cheaper to buy what you really want the first time around. Otherwise you feel like you compromised and wind up selling it six months later for 50% of the purchase price and then buy what you really wanted in the first place. So just save a few more dollars and get t...

Hi, I agree with David about the Steyr size indicator. Just remember when measuring your hand do not include the trigger finger for the Steyr measuring system. You also might want to check Rinks site for their size indicator, www.formgriffe.de as a secondary check. The nice thing is that everyones m...

What brand/weight pellets do you shoot?
I shoot a Steyr LP1 and use the Nygord Precision Pellets but am interested to see what others have come to prefer for their Air Pistols.

I have the 208s with the stock grips. I decided to try the Morini's to see if there was any improvement. After putting them on the gun I wasnt able to tell the difference between them and the stock grips the gun came with. I haven't tried the Nill grips on the 208 though, but if you can try it with ...
