Re: Green light or Red light
Here's an interesting question. On electronic targets, do you watch the Green light coming "on" or the Red light going "out". Which do you react to quicker ? Surely the Red light going out is the critical signal. How you become aware of it might vary from shooter to shooter. I i...

Re: Green light or Red light
In motor racing, certainly MotoGP and World Superbike (not sure about other disciplines), the organisers dropped the green light and opted for just the red light(s) going out. Less confusion I guess and no colour blindness issues. Would make sense to opt for an arrangement like that on electronic ta...

Re: Show us your Free Pistol
made a short presentation for the freepistol event: https://youtu.be/LqhZMBydXyk mainly as an introduction for newbies Very nice video Azmodan. Great introduction to the discipline but a sad reflection on its decline. It should not be allowed to die but I’m afraid it will, except perhaps at club le...

Re: No budget constraints
Like Dcforman, I’ve not had the opportunity to really try out the different high-end models. I have a FWB P44 which I am very happy with, especially after an overhaul - it was build in 2007 (according to the cylinder dates) but really shows no signs of wear. I treated it to a fat Rink grip which fee...

Re: Prepping the trigger
I press first stage on my way down to my aiming area. I do too, when my sights cross down onto the white. I have my balance very lopsided with a hair second stage, so I don't dare do my first stage takeup before I'm on the paper. Never had an unexpected shot though, knock on wood... I’m surprised, ...

Kwikwood is available here in Oz through eBay. Bunnings sells tins of plastic wood and ordinary builder’s bog. Lots of products to choose from. They all work.

Re: Benelli Kite Air Pistol Cylinder Dealers in Europe?
Gwhite, I’ve got one on order but have not yet been given a dispatch date. I have bought other stuff from Tec-hro so have no reason to doubt the quality. When you think about it, there is no good reason why these cylinders should cost the king's ransom the pistol manufacturers charge.

Re: Benelli Kite Air Pistol Cylinder Dealers in Europe?
A German outfit called Tec-hro are selling pistol and rifle CA cylinders that are manufactured on demand by, I think, another mob called 10punkt9. Their website shows FWB, Steyr and Walther but might be worth an enquiry to see if they can do the same for the Benellis. https://tec-hro.de/schiesssport...

Re: Legality of shooting shoes
Apart from Whey-Hai and Tu-Lo, another option is weight-lifting shoes. These have non-spongy soles and hard heals (wood or HD polyurethane). They provide stable contact with the ground. They usually come with a Velcro strap across the instep but this is not needed for shooting and are a nuisance so ...

Re: Morini Trigger Blade Options - CM 200 EL
I've had some success 3D printing trigger shoes for various guns. My wife has small hands & very short fingers. I designed & printed a short trigger for her MatchGun MG2 Hi Gwhite, nice trigger blades. Is there anything shooting-wise you can’t do? Seriously, I’d be interested to know how yo...

Re: lost or stolen pistols- tell us your story
Unsecured is one thing, not carrying your rifle down to score targets and having it stolen by police is just wrong. Here in Oz (New South Wales, other states might differ) you cannot shoot on a range without a fully licenced shooter acting as Range Officer. This hapless individual has to stay back ...

Re: Broken free pistol grip
Once adhesive is applied, and there are plenty of appropriate wood-specific adhesives out there, just hold the parts in place with some elastic bands during the 24hour curing period. That will be enough clamping force. Should be easy with that grip. Won’t break there again - as long as you don’t shi...

Re: TOZ 35M - a Blind Purchase
This thread has re-aroused my interest in these magnificent pistols and I am now on the hunt for one - actually, I think I’ve found one in a similar condition with box and all (or most of) the bits. Bit more expensive down this way in Oz where their value is appreciated; more even than rkitinne's pu...

Leon,
Do you suppose that the Pardini Germany case catcher comes with a magazine? Price might be more reasonable if that is the case.

Re: Pardini HP32 Brass Catcher
I heartily endorse the Easy Paster catcher. I bought one before I got the pistol! Wish I’d bought the second mag clamp at the same time. No problem with fitting in the box.
Has anyone tried their Pardini .32 mag loader? The Pardini mags are a bit tricky to load without a follower button.
