+1 for Dina. Just learn to lock your wrist and then you don't need to bother with these side bar widths.

Re: FWB P44 absorber problem?
I'm sorry you didn't get any response to your two posts on this subject. It's a little difficult to determine what happened to your P44 (I have one) when you gave it “some small beatings” - hopefully you meant some small taps. I guess that was down on the grip and was intended to dislodge the pellet...

The P44 front sight can be rotated.

Re: Walther SSP or Pardini SP New
This recent post relates to replacement Pardini front ends. As used by Ralf Schumann in his hey-day. Mind you, they cost €1500 and you have to provide the barrel!

See previous response. It's about what is a comfortable hold.

Re: Feinwerkbau P44 Absorber question
Some shooters like to cant/tilt their pistol a small amount. Usually to the left for a right-hander. The rear and front sights can be rotated back to the vertical plane to compensate for this cant.

Re: My Feinwerkbau P44+R10 Match+R10Match Plus
When you get a good shot, try to think about EVERY detail that went into that result. That will help to make them happen more often, and if something is not right, it will help you identify it BEFORE you take the bad shot. When you get a bad shot, think about what might have caused it, and what cor...

Re: Feinwerkbau P44 Absorber question
The manual, pages 24-26 describe the action of the absorber and how to determine if it is properly adjusted. If you do not feel the resistance after firing the pistol in a horizontal direction and slowly opening the cocking lever, or the resistance point is outside the limits, it needs fixing in the...

Re: Free Pistol Shorter Front Sight
PS: tried Selleys Knead it. A little bit too epoxy and rubbery feeling. But good quality once it’s cured. The finish is very subtle. But one thing I don’t like is the colour which is light grey. Hi Todd, if you review some of the YouTube clips of the elite shooters, you'll see that nobody worries a...

Both products look to be good value, especially the Decathlon item.

Re: Free Pistol Shorter Front Sight
Since you ask Todd (lwy.todd.lu), I've used Kwikwood and Selleys Plastic Wood Filler Cement. I prefer the former but a bit alarmed to find that it has changed. Will try the Quikwood stuff from Amazon next time I need to buy some (I still have a stash of Kwikwood).

Re: 1990 Walther OSP grip question
The GSP/OSP family are quite long pistols. Could it be that the grip is the shape it is so that the gun will fit in the box?

Re: Morini CM84E or Pardini FPM?
Hi lwy.todd.lu, I'm in Sydney and have a couple of FPs you might be interested in. I shoot a Hammerli/Walther FP60 but have a TOZ35M and a Steyr Match (only 1000 made) which I wish to part with. If you live close enough, I'd be happy to let you try them at my club's range. I'll PM you my contact det...

Re: Walther GSP Trouble Shooting?
I had a persistent problem with extraction, ejection and light strikes (round not fully in battery) with my TriAce .22. It is a previously loved(?) firearm which required a few replacement parts and a thorough cleaning before I could use it. I tried everything I could think of to cure the problem, i...

Re: Pardini SP & HP with MX-02
Have a look at the SCATT mount for the Pardini from easypasters.com (https://www.easypasters.com/english/pardini-bracket-for-scatt/). With this you can use the MX-2 while actually shooting and avoid putting anything into the barrel that shouldn't be there. It has the necessary angular adjustment you...

Re: scale down targets
The SCATT software is free to use. You don't need a SCATT device. You can print a variety of targets (with and without rings) at any distance you choose.
