Re: Walther GSP speeloader
Frankly, I’m surprised people want loaders for .22LR magazines, unless of course, you are a young lady (or bloke) with long, fragile fingernails. The magazine springs are not that strong. For .32 and larger, they make a lot of sense to me. I have one for my GSP-C and for some of my 9mm magazines. I ...

Re: Newbie shooting question
It has been said that deliberately winding the sights off both in elevation and in windage (remembering how many clicks you move) will make you focus more on the grouping than the “score”.

Re: PISTOL WEIGHTS, QUESTION.
Andrew Berryhill (https://www.precisiontargetpistolgrips.com/barrel-weights.html) has developed a clip-on gadget which holds up to four .38 slugs and which clips over and can be slid along cylindrical barrels. These give quite a wide range of weight adjustments, especially with free and air pistols....

Can’t remember what the physics formula to use, if known initial velocity and final distance are known, what is the final velocity at that final distance. … Just don’t know what physics formula to calculate that final velocity and distance. You would need a bit more information than just initial ve...

Re: Toz-35 bench test
For centrefire some form of articulated rest ie. Ransom is needed. In a fixed rest, the force required to hold centrefire recoil would likley damage your frame. Ahh. Thanks David, but if the clamping is arranged such that the barrel axis goes through a rigid support, there will be recoil/reaction b...

Re: Toz-35 bench test
Yes, that was my question :) Some benches seems fixed and some benches has moving or sliding parts. Example this seems quite fix but never knows if there are something sliding recoil parts. Target pistol is clamped from grip block: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_1zLinF0W4&t=2s I’d like to kn...

Re: Is Free Pistol dead now? Standard?
Frankly, I’d give an arm AND a leg for an Olympic medal in FP.Azmodan wrote: ↑Fri Aug 13, 2021 4:50 am looks like free pistol / 50M pistol is on the Paralympic program: https://olympics.com/tokyo-2020/en/para ... /shooting/
so, if one wants an olympic medal in freepistol.. one has to loose a leg :)

Re: Anyone have experience with Tec-Hro cylinders
I’ve bought one for a FWB air pistol but have not had the opportunity to use it yet - Covid lock-down in Sydney! If it’s as good as other stuff I’ve bought from Tec-Hro it will be excellent.
They are actually made for Tec-Hro by 10punk9.

I like 7th grade humour. And I think that william is on the money. Too much time spent on all those things can bring you undone mentally.

Re: Air tank
What is the possibility, or drawbacks, of using a 300 BAR tank and regulating it down to 200 BAR between the scuba tank and fill adapter? I've wondered about this for some time. Would it just turn out to be a plumbing nightmare or cost prohibitive? Serious question..... I’m sure it’s possible: regu...

Re: Air tank
I would expect that the pistol cylinders are proof tested to a minimum of 250bar but I’m not sure how they’d handle inadvertently going to 300bar. I expect that KA-BOOM would be the operative description. At least with an aluminium cylinder it might just split so no shards/shrapnel except perhaps en...

Ah, well, there you go! Pardini grips would have been interchangeable.

nmondal, with respect to coaching, have you thought of Hemant Jadhav of www.foresightshooting.com? He is base in India (not sure where but he would be easier to talk to) and seems to have a string of ISSF and other qualifications. Along with his online course, he runs one-on-one workshops. He focuse...

No doubt David, but it goes to the issue of reliability in David M's thread about what makes the Pardini RF pistol so attractive. Obviously it’s NOT reliability.

Pardinis may be very reliable but I noticed that all(?) the shooters in the Women's 25m and the Men's RF had a spare (Pardini) pistol to hand.

Re: Toz-35M trigger blade options ?
I have a Hammerli FP60, the predecessor to Walther's FP-500. It had the same trigger “blade” with the movable o-ring. I couldn’t get on with it. The original grip and my hand size wouldn’t work with that set-up despite bending the rod, so I made my own blade which works very well. My trigger weight ...
