What kind of air are you aiming it?
Olympic style only or full power as well?
I'd first make a choice between this because full power requires whole other setting

Dont forget to tighten yr buttock when getting into position. Otherwise yr hip will twist. This can also cause back pain

Imo, thats even too expensive.
Here, there's absolutely NO market for free pistols. They go for about E150 (old Toz)

No cheap dot sight is parallaxfree. No matter what their sales add says.
I believe the expensive Doctor sights are parallax free
Dont know at what distances though

Re: Tau 7 Junior
As you describe it, you already removed the problemseal; the valveseal. Its a pain to get to as it lays deep in the pistol. Iirc, there are 2 seals, blue and white. I believe the blue are more recent and softer. Tau's work so well in a variety of temperature because of hard seals. It sometimes helps...

Re: Getting past a shooting plateau?
What other practice do you do? Do you excersize? If not, start doing so.(both power and endurance)
What do you train? Only life fire? Start with other things: dryfire, scatt (or laser if cheapo), mental training etc

Re: 'Pain in the neck'
Maybe yr position is too high. Lower position gives straighter back and neck
Besides that how often do you shoot prone?
I have backsores next day too when I dont shoot prone often. That suggests its a muscle training issue as well

Re: How to clean out your target rifle?
In short? I dont. ;)
I clean them every 500 shots or so. But thats more for me.
1 felt pellets comes out grey, the next is already clean.
Match barrels are well polioshed inside, hence they faul a lot less.
I dó use high quality (lubed) ammo. Lubed ammo prevents fauling even more

They dont. Its usually the other way around; AP prefer smaller, AR larger.

Re: diaphragm breathing or chest breathing
Dunno wether they mean belly by diaphragm, but I know 3 types of breathing:
chest
belly
diaphragm
Where with diaph, you ONLY move yr chest OUTWARDS.(yr sides)
This is learned to people who stutter to control breathing.
However, it is said to be beneficial in shooting too as it adds most oxygen

Re: calculating correct insert size
Yes the outer size probably is like original 10m target. Hence the large size insert. Dont know wether you can use glass one's with standard M18 screws? With the old black inserts, you only unscrew a little, untill you can switch them out. The slot isnt large enough for modern inserts. And the inner...

Re: calculating correct insert size
Size needed is 9.2-9.4 (I prefer the cards with more black rings vs the half sizes one's).
I can get those in plastic inserts, but I'll need a bunch of screws to have the other rifles take glass/plastic inserts

Re: calculating correct insert size
I dont think the old black inserts can be sized enough.
Thats only possibly with the massive plastic newer inserts.
9 outa 10 of my rifles use the old black inserts

calculating correct insert size
I'm shooting an informal 6yrd competition. I used to only have upto 4.6 size inserts. But these do not give any white around the target. I than bought sizes upto 5.0 but to my surprise, it doesnt really make much difference at this short(er) distance. Is there any way to calculate what approx size I...
