I saw your ad, but I'm not having any luck in finding any info on Don Nygord and his gunbuilding/smithing talent. I have heard his name, and know he is someone of stature. But most of the stuff I've read has been more of instructional in nature. Maybe someone can tell me where to find more info. I'...

better grip. I was thinking about wearing a thin glove with finger exposed. So only the palm part is leather gripping. If you believe that your grip is inadequate, then you should spend some time with sandpaper and/or filler to alter your stocks to obtain a better fit to your hand. If your hand is ...

One of the oldest posts that I can find on here regarding damage from cleaning pellets is from you about using them in an LP5 and them getting in the mechanism. Now that I could see, if a bunch of crud gets into the magazine feeding mechanism that could screw up the feeding. I wonder if this is whe...

Re: What are folks reloading .45acp for (per round)?
It's OK to lend someone reloaded ammo, but it is illegal to sell reloaded ammo without all kinds of licenses. So don't be surprised if people refuse.MSC wrote:

Few years ago Don Nygord was looking at my air pistol and ask me if I was cleaning my barrel. I said I shot few felt pellets till they came out clean. He then showed to me how to make cleaning device for air pistols out of heavy monofilament fishing line and ran few patches saturated with, I believ...

When I first started out, I remember reading that one must align the barrel with his forearm. I took this as something that I should follow exactly, since the instruction was from a top shooter. It took me many years (I'm a slow learner sometimes) to realize that his tip was simply a rough starting...

Re: LP-50 Shroud for scope
What exactly allows Pilkington's LP-50's to take a scope. Can a non-pilk Steyr be modified to take a Weaver mount? The Pilkington LP50 has a cut out in the barrel shroud which will accept a weaver ring. Pilkington sells a modified rail that mounts in place of the rear sight http://www.pilkguns.com/...

Yeah, O.K., I have a reputation for being somewhat sensitive to commercial advertising/product endorsement type posts. A deserved reputation i guess. Many, if not most, of us give product endorsements when we post why we like/dislike certain products. Is it commercial advertising when I say - don't...
