Nothing against brians tubes, Ive never used nor seen one, but I can vouch for Eric Uptagraffts tubes. He uses one with great success as well as many other members on the international rifle team. His are very well built and very reasonably priced as well. His are very light as well.

I'd be more worried about if I could shoot well with the stock rather than the color. Afterall they are SHOOTING competitions, not who has the bluest or prettiest stock. If I could win with a beat up telephone pole as a stock I would do so, winning is more important than having the nicest looking gu...

I will guarantee no one in the world has a gun that shoots less than 10mm groups consistently. If you get consistent 12mm shoot groups you have a hammer gun. And as for people that spend over $1000 a case of ammo not having to worry about fliers, YEAH RIGHT! It happens in ammo no matter what the cos...

The life will be far longer than 10k rounds. It will change after about 10k but you can test more ammo and it will shoot just as well as it did before.

Using a nylon brush after 2000 rounds isnt going to get lead out. The nylon brush wont get the lead out even after just a day of shooting.

its a barrel tuner. It is really more complicated than what a beginner needs. Don't use it. Let your grandson learn the sport and learn to hold before you start to use anything like that.

Barney, your math is off. The anschutz 10 clicks are not 1/4 minute clicks. They are finer than that. They are around 1/5 minute to 1/6 minute clicks

What advantage is there to having a second pocket on your shooting jacket? There isn't. But yet there is a rule stating that you can't have it. So just live with the rule that you can't have a corrective lense attached to the rifle, it's that simple. Do you not have ears so glasses won't stay attach...

Actually the rifle should be resting across the base of your thumb, to get the rifle across the heel of your hand you will have to have your wrist twisted in such a manner that is would be painful itself as well as counter productive. With your wrist straight the rifle will fit right across the base...
