Re: What is this part called?

It doesn't show up on the parts schematic. Here>>>https://carl-walther.com/uploads/media/ ... 943_h.pdf

I'm guessing it a weight someone made.

Re: Winter Airgun Pistol National Championships a “Go” in 2021

I think and I may be wrong, it's happened before, that there a 2 individual matches. A individual match on day 1 plus finals and a individual match on day 2 plus the 3 person team event. But I could be wrong. Rifle was always 1 match per day and then a final. I read the match program and it says &qu...

Re: Precision Shooting Suit- next step

Ellishoots, Keep an eye on the Buy, sell ,trade section here in the forums, shooting suits pop up fairly often. Depending on what college she is looking at, they sometimes supply the suit , but not always. If she still fits the current suit, it might be best to try and wait til the growth spurt is d...

Re: cheekpiece and head position

Thanks all for the replies,it seems like the risers help , I just need to get my position consistent I believe. Seems like the better the rifle fits , the more position mistakes affect the shot. Little mistakes show more on the bull, if you understand.

Re: cheekpiece and head position

Tim,
What do you think about the offset risers for sights ? I use them on my smallbore rifles and they see to make my head and neck more upright.
Is there any concern with the offset from the bore of the rifle? I haven't noticed any, I was just wondering your opinion?

Re: JO no shows?

I'm guessing they are slow on the updates, the 2nd relay of the 1st smallbore match shot today, so they are still getting scores sorted. If I remember right there are 12 lanes on the upper range and 12 on the lower and they don't use all of them in case of a malfunction. They call them hospital or r...

Re: FWB 800 -- Travel Case Recommendations

I use a Pelican 1750 or 1720 case. They are kinda spendy, but you can find sales on them if you are patient. With the 1750 case you can fit 2 rifles in the case with no sights or buttplates. With the 1730 case there isn't enough room for 2 rifles , but you can cut the foam for spots for the buttplat...

Re: Anschutz 1413 or 1407

Your best bet is to watch GunBroker(search "Anschutz"), otherwise start haunting the local gun stores and ranges. 1413's were discontinued long ago, current Anschutz models are 54.30, 2013, and 1913, but you probably already know this. Maybe find out where the smallbore matches are held an...

Re: Federal 711b ammo compared to other

Fellows. Wind died down here in the DFW area this AM and I finally got to the range to try some different ammo out. I shot at 100 yards, prone off sandbags. My go to ammo when I shot SB 15 years or so ago was Federal 711b. I've got 3 bricks of the same lot. This ammo I shot first up and after shoot...

Re: FWB 2700 opinions

All of the rifles you are looking at are good rifles, each has it own pluses and minuses. ANS. rail accessories fit on the FWB rail so you can interchange, FWB to ANS. handstops and palm risers, where the Walther stuff is its own dovetail. I own a FWB 2700 and several Anschutz rifles, they are very ...

Re: Anschutz SuperAir 2002 questions

Howdy folks, I recently purchased a 2002 SSP for air rifle silhouette and now I've got a few questions. For reference, it hasn't been serviced for at least 8 years, possibly longer than that. Also, I'm new to air rifles so I'm still a newbie for these things. 1. When I close the cocking handle it k...

Re: Stock FWB 2700 sights versus Centra Pro 57

Zane, I shoot a FWB 2700 both scoped and open sighted . I use an Anschutz 7002 rear sight and a FWB front. Champions Choice has a riser set for the FWB>>>>> http://www.champchoice.com/store/Main.aspx?p=ItemDetailOptions&item=17469022 <<<<click the link. This setup works pretty well for me. Also ...
