565 with my 46M. I now have a LP10, but my scores have not gone up. Dang, all that money and I didn't get any more points. :-) I love my LP10 though.

My PB with the IZH-46M is a 565. My PB with my LP10 that I've had for 2 years is ...well....err...not that high. Like they say, you can't buy points. Enjoy!

I have a Rink grip on my LP10 and I love it. It fits my hand better than the Morini grip. The longer piece of the grip that comes over you thumb (well better than calling it the thingymajobber) really locks my hand in place. Once I take the grip I can't shift my hand at all.

The results I've seen posted, from a high end APs, show "bad" groups still fitting inside the inner 10 ring. My take on this is to get pellets from a reliable souce (brand) and just work on the truely limiting variable, me. I buy Vogel pellets and just train. I really don't see the pellet,...

One of the drawbacks of the CO2 pistols used to be their relatively large shift of impact with changing temperatures.
Yea, but how much temperature change is there during a match? I have a LP10 CO2 and I just love it. The limiting factor for me is ME. :-)

I like the new format as well. I especially like the "view posts since last visit". Really speeds things up, instead of scrolling down to see what's new. The re-sorting of topics due to replys keeps interesting topics from being buried.

Mark me a happy camper!

Foam for new AP case

I just won a nice leather hard sided brief case. I have no use for it other than making it into an AP case. This will allow me to put the AP, targets, glasses, etc in 1 case instead of having to haul around a backpack. I need to pad the case. Where is a good place to look for the appropriate foam? A...

Is that the biggest difference, the adjustability of the palm rest? How about the shape and fit? Or are the fundamentally the same?

Opinion on Rink grip

I'm in the market for a large grip for my Steyr LP10. The cost of the Rink grip and the Steyr grip are the same. Have any of y'all compared the 2 grips? What are the differences?

Opinions please...

Thanks

Are any of y'all worried about basic eye protection? I have a pair of Vargas pistol glasses and now with the skinny eye cover, I'm kind of concerned. I've only been hit by something when shooting once. That was at the OTC and something hit me just above the non-shooting eye. I was facing down the sh...

If you want the group to move left, turn the knob to the L. This is the exact opposite to my Steyr. Gets confusing sometimes.

Try Van's skateboard shoes. They have a really flat sole. I've seen several members of the Army team using them.

Also make sure to keep hydrated. Keeping the front sight in clear focus is something that we all struggle with.

Good luck!

I was shooting at a blank target one time and I had the target out at 50 ft. At 10 m I have a tendency to try to connect the dots. Anyway, after about 40 shots, I had a hole about the size of a quarter. Someone came in as asked me what I was aiming at. When I said nothing, he looked at me like I had...
