Re: Buying Air Pistol in USA and bringing into Canada

Have you got a CDN quote that is a lot more expensive? I think the price is pretty much comparable except the difference in tax.. With a CDN dealer you save the hassle of asking for the extra paperwork for the 500fps velocity which will be included and the American dealer may not have the < 500fps g...

I should mention the original svg comes from: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:25_meter_rapid_fire_pistol_target.svg I combined 5 of them together.. As mentioned the scoring lines seem too wide esp when exported to pdf. And it needs some burr to mimic the out of focus in the real world. May be...

Given that many sports discard heats and semi results for the final, I really don't see why this is such a big deal.

I would say an even starting point for the final make it somewhat more exciting.

Reduced olympics rapid fire targets

Tried to look for it but couldn't.. so I made one and scaled it down to 1.5m, perfect to print on a letter size paper for dry firing in the basement..

Re: "Practice" Air Pistol Targets from Nikkonos

MIT runs an intramural air pistol league, and is looking for cheap targets that don't shred like the typical US made targets. Edelmanns would be great, but are too pricey. The Cible targets are only slightly less expensive. I ran across a link for an eBay dealer in Canada that claims to have German...

mhkhung It seems this might be a problem for the LP10E. Your picture of the damage is the exact same as mine. The bushing that was either press fit into the pistol frame or machined when the frame was made is threaded and it is what sheared. I see that it is still threaded around the screw as mine ...

The screw wouldn't go back in properly.. the threads is way too short and must have worn out the socket..

Time to call service..

Just happened to me last evening when practicing.. The screw and the spring popped off and dry fire became live (good that the parts were still trapped between the frame and the grip..)

So my optometrist concludes that contact is not very effective for my right eye.. I have too much far-sightedness and astigmatism.. :(

Are all the shooting glass similar? I am thinking of a Varga since it seems to be the cheapest.. Any recommendation?

I ended up getting a 2nd hand 700 universal (from a Canadian dealer). The Canadian imports have factory issued certificates that the air guns were fixed at 495 fps by the factory such that it is not classified as firearms.
