Re: butt plate

Best in my opinion is the Grunig extreme. Pricy , but worth it. Very solid, very adjustable, great contact that stays put!

Mine often says it is not recognizing the target control too. but it is a driver issue with mine. I just have to plan on reloading the drivers before each use. Sometimes more than once. That is my gripe.

They must have made some improvements then! A good thing! They do make great stuff, just pricey. If you have used a basic sling and found it works well then great. If your one that does have a lot of pulse seen through a scope then it doesn't hurt to try different stuff. I have friends I shoot with ...

Anything from the Swiss is going to be expensive, then your looking at it from a vender from the UK. That brings the highest exhange rate for US buyers. Stinks I know, but sometimes the only place to get certain items. Ryan at Intershoot is good to deal with. Why the Bleiker/Truttmann... Because it ...

You won't be able to make an accurate order either as you don't know the "exact" diameter of the barrel on the last two inches. Needs to be perfect.

1. A tuner improves the vertical dispersant. With a tuned rifle I have found the wind affects it less too. Maybe not less but affects it more consistently. 2. You will go through ammo. If you change lots you might have to re-tune. At first I'd go through 4-5 boxes to find it. Now usually no more tha...

My solution to that fixing the sling to the sling holder and adjusting the tension to what was comfortable. The MEC sling and the Anschutz Swing sling, and Truttman sling are all designed to attach to the sling holder to prevent the sling from twisting. The MEC is most comfortable but expensive and ...

Just sounds like your setup is just not right yet. Dry firing for an extended amount of time will tell you something. You have to get the NPA issue worked out. When you get to group shooting there still might be some minor changes but you should see some sort of consistency. Keep us posted. Tenring

I've recently gone through the same issues as you. Yes it is important to get into the same position each and every time. cm here or there is hardly a reason to get wrapped around the axil about. It comes down to comfort...get the sling, handstop comfortable. Get the buttplate comfortably snug in th...

This is purely my opinion. I have not had the Kurt Thune, but have seen them and they are made very well. My friend had the A-T-L. It had a buckle that is in a very wrong place that makes is somewhat difficult to keep from touching the rifle while in prone. I have the expensive MEC and it is great, ...

The barreled action might be a 1813, but the stock could be an 1811, or other. Many don't know what they have for sale. If you can get pics we'd be able to give you better advise. The stock will make several hundred dollars difference depending on what it has. Give us an many details as possible as ...
