I should add I have disassembled the magazines and cleaned the parts, but I think the action is binding on the bare metal which has worn from the button sliding down under thumb pressure.

Cleaning Magazines -AW93

Hi,

I have several AW93 magazines which have becoming difficult to use.

The spring action is very tight and feels gritty.

Can anyone explain the best way to clean it and fee it up.

Anyone tried ultrasonic cleaners, and if so what solution did you use.

Cheers

I agree about SISC Spencer.

Shooting at night there is getting worse.

Thanks David, She puts a lot of hard work in and I try to help and motivate her, but the best work and results come from her coach Anatoly. Australia has some very good young pistol shotters and it can all be thanks to him and his wife Dina. I wish I could attend the event too, but as it happens I a...

Munich 2010

I just read that the number of registered competitors for the World Cup has gone over 2100. Is the event always this big? I am thrilled as my 14 year old daughter has made the Aussie team to compete. Her first overseas trip, and it happens to be half way around the world. Lots of training happening ...

I thought the shorts only had to be knee length?

Was it part of an official uniform?

Thats why I was curious. On many occasions I saw the light change and thought instantly "That shot was late" only to see a score appear. Then I checked my daughters printout to see the timing. Thanks for the clarification David, but now I have to convince her to get them away on green and ...

Sius Timing

Hi,

Can someone please advise me the cut off point for a late shot during the rapid fire stage of Centrefire/Sport Pistol.

Today I saw results with the shot being fired at 3.04, 3.05, 3.06 seconds.

I always thought the cutoff was 3.00 seconds.

Cheers

I used to have problem with cycling SV CCI in my daughters AW93.

After a very good clean it now cycles with no problems.

She still shoots matches with SK Pistol Match, but trains with CCI to help keep costs doen a little.

I shoot matches and train with CCI in my AW93 and have had no trouble.
