correction attached on the rifle can be adjusted so that it is very very close, even inside the sight system, and always perfectly centered. However, if lens is worn on the shooter, it is the shooter's responsibility and skill to always adopt the exact same position to minimize refraction errors. ho...

i just went to my optometrist today to get my prescription done... though I won't have them until Monday, let me share my experience. Background, 1) I can't bring my rifle to the clinic, he can't come to the range 2) we don't have clip-on lens testing device. Basically, I measured the distance from ...

I have this problem as well and I think part of the problem is my mind. It seems that I use my eyes to orient myself when I pick up the rifle from the stand and lower it into position. Instead of concentrating on my movements and making sure I set up exactly the same every time, my eyes are already ...

I hope not. While it's true things will keep moving forwards, I still see shot put, discus, hammer, javelin throw, etc.. at the summer Olympics. In theory, you could play table tennis, or any other sport for that matter, with the Nintendo Wii. Or have cycling athletes ride stationary bikes with digi...

Our range is located in Taipei, Taiwan inside the Jhong Jheng Sports Center and it's open all year round to the general public. http://www.jjsports.com.tw/booking.htm There are a few other ranges like this one, where shooting is treated more as a recreational activity. Local athletes generally train...

Morini 162EI Circuit Board

My coach doesn't use computers and internet much, so I'm posting in his stead. Our range has a few Morini circuit boards that are not working properly. It's hard for us to find a good technician or send it back to factory as we live in Taiwan (Asia). He wants to know whether it's possible to just bu...

Interestingly, both Gold and Silver for the 10m Air Pistol Youth Men's at Singapore 2010 were Walther pistols.

Does this mean that manufacturers still have a shot to persuade younger generations? =p

what we mean is, normal vision is used to seeing things at a distance rather larger than the sight, thus focusing on something so near for so long may be awkward for your eyes. maybe. maybe not. some people who don't wear glasses could benefit from dioptre correction to help them focus on near objec...

I'm a beginner so take my comments with a grain of salt~ I usually focus straight ahead. ie. I don't really stare at anything, but try to focus on the "sight picture" whole image. If that doesn't help, I just stare at the blurry target blob while keeping the ring focused. What I found that...

Thanks for the responses.

My doctor gave me prescription so that I can get orthotic insoles made right at the hospital division. and see a PT to speed up recovery.

I'm also going to make myself stretch before shooting from now on as well =P

I'll report back with updates =)
