Re: No Worries
I hope that when I am 78 I can still shoot well...especially standing, off-hand, with a heavy FWB 601. I was interested to see the shooters' targets.
With that said this thread appears to have run its course, and is now locked.

Re: shooing high/right even after I spot my shots.
1. Why do you change your grip between targets? That seems a recipe for otherwise unexplainable misses. 2. Gaze at this image: 2542bba5f8c81676b749195676963c4f.jpg I don't change my grip on purpose. But I have to put then gun down to reload. I've always been a little bit skeptical of those diagrams...

There is a contact form for FN, at the end of this industry related article. Maybe it will help you...

Re: Anyone Know What Happened to Noptel?
FN Herstal bought Noptel in 2011. Now they make fire control systems for heavy weaponry, LPR (License Plate Readers), and other laser ranging, optical systems. It sure seemed to me like Noptel phased out their Sport Shooting line, after that. https://fnherstal.com/en/news/fn-herstals-full-product-po...

Re: Hand Swelling in AP
Humidity, health, diet, and exercise all play a role. In the US it is possible to be shooting in a low humidity environment one day and a high humidity environment the next. How one stores/transports the pistol can effect this as well. (ie, not storing the pistol in the trunk of a hot/cold vehicle.)...

Re: Hawke 30mm red dot info
Lumped together, for the most part. I never shoot with a red dot and often compete against those that do. It seems to allow older shooters to continue in the sport as their eyes age. Younger shooters often enjoy learning to use the dot and pick it up quickly, as well. For the OP, the Bushnell TRS-25...

Re: Hawke 30mm red dot info
Many Bullseye shooters, now called Precision Pistol in the US, use red dot sights. It is an accepted practice for Precision Pistol competition.

Re: Trigger blade to finger pad pressure
It sounds like a triggering issue. Perhaps review this,. https://www.ssusa.org/content/what-causes-poor-trigger-technique/ Also, as you know which shot is a problem break your cycle,...never shoot that shot in the series. Stop at 'X.' Do not ever trigger the shot that includes your hesitancy, or exc...

Re: Trigger blade to finger pad pressure
Before spending money on trigger blades or other similar changes, try adding weight to the pull. Is your air pistol trigger set at 500 grams? Most are not....they are set too light..(rarely are they set too heavy). (The problem described can occur with a trigger set too light. If so, adjust to 500 g...

Re: ISSF Ammunition Rules
Thats great but my club does not have 'combat shooting', the closest it has is 'Service' which is a bit like PPC. But PPC is hard work so people prefer to shoot Centrefire to achieve their minimum attendance requirements to own a 9mm So, the point is not to compete or train, just to own a certain t...

Re: ISSF Ammunition Rules
The best option is to see if you can convert them to real target shooters. Restrict the loads they can shoot so they aren't blasting people with shock waves, and then shame them into learning how to shoot better by showing them what is possible. From my experience there are very few "combat st...

Re: E targets for new range.
The CMP is using Kongsberg at both Anniston and Camp Perry. I have witnessed an issue only one time, over many different matches...the shot fired was clearly not where indicated..the target was recalibrated....the system does not use witness paper. (Renay Woodruff is a great person, and a great cont...
