Re: the changes are slow to reach the shooting line
In 1996 there were probably as many CO2 guns on the line as compressed air. The ranges had both tanks available for filling. I think neither has an accuracy advantage, so why should he have changed? The top shooters do not change or alter guns just for the sake of doing so.

Re: Steyr LP10 barrel shroud weights?
I would shoot the pistol completely stock a lot until you can formulate a sound opinion of how you like it. This could take months of shooting. I see no reason to start removing/changing/buying parts until you decide it is needed. The first thing you need to do is get the grips right because you can...

Re: ammo, Marvel conversion....
I shoot a Marvel long slide conversion and love it. When I first got it, I had lots of malfunctions. I contacted Marvel and was told they come with a 9 lb recoil spring, so I obtained a 7 and 8 lb spring. After installing the 8 lb spring, my malfunctions went away. I am shooting CCI SV too. Good luck.

Re: Swedish Cup Live final NOW
Usually the model chosen is the one the is free, initially. Then as a shooter becomes more skilled, they all are free, so they chose the model they like best, or the one that pays best. I purchased my first 2 air pistols, the FWB 65 and then the FWB 2. However, after that I didn't have to buy anothe...

Re: TOZ 35 spare parts
I have a TOZ 35M that I shot for years, lots. I acquired some spare parts as they came along but never had to use them. The firing pin spring is the main one that might require replacing at some point. However, you can make it last much longer by not keeping the firing pin in the cocked position whe...

I suggest trying a short cylinder on the K12 if you want to change the balance.

Re: can't get cylinder bottle off my LP10
Something akin to a barrel vice with fitted jaws might be needed. I have used never cease on the threads too, but very sparingly. As a poster stated earlier, petroleum products are not for the plastic or rubber parts.

Re: can't get cylinder bottle off my LP10
I have noticed the cylinder being harder to unscrew as the pressure drops but never realized why. But it has always come off because I do not put it on very tightly to begin with.

Next time use a petroleum based high pressure grease on the thread.

Re: Pardini k60
The proper way to fill the cylinders is to chill them in a refrigerator not a freezer. You will overfill them and sometimes blow out the check valve if you freeze them. Chilling my Walther cylinders in the fridge works fine and they never overfill. A scale may not be essential, but they are inexpens...

Re: Pardini k60
I am not familiar with the K60, but I am familiar with shooting CO2. I am still shooting a Walther CO2 pistol and it easy and convenient. A scale can be purchased at Walmart for a very reasonable price, one that weighs in both grams and ounces. Good luck.

Re: Walther SSP or Pardini SP New
The Pardini, in my opinion, is not front heavy at all, especially with the weights removed. In the event of International Standard Pistol and Rapid Fire Pistol, it absolutely dominates. This speaks volumes of its good recoil and reliability qualities. In addition, it is very easy to scope or to remo...

Re: SOS - What to do about backsliding?
Spend more time focusing on the shot process and less on the score. One thing that will help this is to scope less, sometimes going 5 or 10 shots depending on how they are flowing. It takes some getting used to, but you can do it. In addition, take a little more time between shots. There is nothing ...

Re: Walther SSP or Pardini SP New
The Pardini is so dominant, I would not consider anything else. The Pardini is pretty adjustable for balance and very reliable. I have no experience with the SSP but have been told by someone definitely in the know that they are not user friendly. Evidently the design is complicated and this will wo...

Re: SCATT Trainer
First and foremost, if you want a Scatt Trainer, purchase one. If it is something you will enjoy using, then it really makes little difference if your scores improve. The main thing is just to have fun. Keep in mind too that shooting air pistol is extremely demanding on the eyes and hold. I am 61 an...

I recommend checking with Greg Derr at derrprecision.com. Go to his website and look at some of the work that he has done. He does have a waiting period, as most all the top smiths do. Greg is a member of the guild and will build you exactly what you want. He does beautiful work.

I have a TOZ barrel that is removed, but have no way to measure a metric thread. Why are you putting a new barrel on it? Usually the TOZ barrels shoot good.

Re: Mod 41
The first thing I would do is take the slide off the unit and push the firing pin all the way in. If the nose of the firing pin extends beyond the face of the slide, then there is a problem with with the firing pin stop. This means the firing pin is hitting the back of the barrel and damage will res...
