masks

Does anyone wear masks when they shoot indoors? If so, what kind is effective (there are so many different types...)

Our state championships are held at a range with TERRIBLE ventilation... definitely unsafe.

Re: 45 colt 1911

Two different parts can be moved when the magazine is incerted into the magazine well on the 1911. The trigger bars may be changing when you load. andthe magazine release mey be changing position. The first issue with the trigger bars may be that one is broken or possibly both bent. If you fing tha...

I can't get them any tighter... that's what it sounds like, but it goes away with a magazine inserted, which baffles me.

.45 issue

I have a Rock River 1911 for .45 bullseye. Lately, if you move the gun side to side you can hear something shifting. If I insert a loaded magazine, it seems to lessen it greatly. It seems like it is the scope shifting, but it doesn't make sense that it would stop when I insert a magazine... I also n...

Were/are you scoping between the single SF shots? Don't. I was scoping the first shot to make sure my sights were okay and then would put the cover on. Still sticking with the 5-shot for now. Had a 566 in competition last night and it felt very good. Still lots of room to improve, and I hope to tak...

slow fire

Dilemma- I've been shooting for a year. I quickly excelled at timed and rapid fire (95 avg) but my slow fire scores were in the low 80's. I recently bought a Pardini (I was using a 6-7/8" Ruger Mark III) to try and help my Slow Fire scores. Nothing changed in SF, but my TF and RF scores are now...

I'm trying to decide between the FWB AW-93 and the Pardini SP.... I've shot both, and the Pardini just felt like butter. I'm used to a 6-7/8" barrel on my Ruger, and it seemed like the short-barrel length (less time for me to screw up) on the Pardini turned my poorly executed shots from 7's to ...

Shooting Glasses Question

I'm looking for some shooting glasses that have attachable side blinders. I'm not looking for any dohickeys on the front... just normal range glasses that either have the side blinders already attached, or ones that you can put the blinders on. Is what I'm talking about even available? Any help woul...
