A question about grips?

Hi, this is maybe a little foolish, but any way...

Try to back the trigger a bit. If you tighten the grip you will not reach the trigger in the same way as before.

Do not adjust the palm shelf too tight, it is for support, if it will make traces in the hand = adjust

Setting Overtravel

I agree with Mr. Mike Taylor, use dry firing and see what happens. Place trigger finger differently, move trigger back or forth and see the result. As I am shooting a lot of different guns, with or without electricity (no difference to me, if good) over travel has never caused me any trouble. Go dry...

Sight radius

Hi. The mirror trick is wery hard. Today I will try the support as I have red about in: http://www.pilkguns.com/coach/anatoli2.htm He says that I must start trigger pressure before the final concentrating on sights. The sighting should be an ongoing process. I will bye this. It is very hard to start...

Sight radius

Steve: Wobble Board is good, two is even better, but one must be blind folded to make a real benefit from it. If you concentrate on sights it is like you forget what is around you, thus your control of the surroundings is nil. Use a mirror when shooting once in a while, it is nice to turn the head t...

Sight radius

Yes I agree with you so far But lock at the problem like this: In training use 4 inch longer sight line and get used to it In a match go back to standard sight radius and you will benefit from a more steady hold. You will be spoiled a bit and shoot better with shorter radius. But only for a short ti...

Air Pistol score vs. Free Pistol Score

I agree with the two answers above. 540 vs. 575.
Must try shooting airpistol and make the SCATT believe that I am shooting free pistol. It should prowide an ansver I suppose.

Sight radius

Hi, Does sight radius have a significant importance on training? Will the long sight radius only help to shorten the trace length or will it in addition to that benefit in training to hold still? Another 4 inch on a free pistol will not make the result go up, but will it help the training process? I...

Sighting in Pistol

Hi,
If I may suggest using the back of the target, nothing but sights to think about. You will learn faster that way. Later it becomes a natural habit to use the sub six hold.

Regards and a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.

Focus on sights or on target?

Let me express my opinion in this way: The sights, rear and front and the target is important, when shooting at 50 meters one must see the target (and the number above) by using an adjustable iris you can get everything relatively sharp. But now the tricky part, once on target let the subconscious m...

ISSF Rapid Fire pistol: New rules from 2005 - official

Hi, Excuse me for saying this, but have you not forget one major factor? The .22 Short ammo will cost 3 times more than .22LR; it was too expensive in manufacturing Okay, the trigger can be changed a bit to your liking but basically it is a standard pistol. My OSP is worth nothing but cést la vie. K...

With the right ammo tuned to the return spring and filing down the extractor so that the slide can close every time you can make it work fine. Have shot 1200 rounds with NO malfunctions at all. Eley target Extra Blue label. The pistol can be bought for a small amount of money but is not a pistol for...

Manurhin MR 32 Match DA or SA

, This discussion will realy help, it is a huge problem when it comes to choosing the right gun for center fire. It is easier to use a pistol like Walther or Pardini but then you must use .32 SW (Yes, there is Hammerli 240 in .38 spec.) and we all know how difficult that is, furthermore there is a p...
