Front sight colored

Can the front sight of a 50 meter free pistol be colored. Such as maybe green. I was unable to find it in the rule book. I do not know if I want to but would like to know if it is possible. Maybe fiber optic even. This rule does not say no. 8.4.2.3. Has anybody run into this. Thanks

You will find that the heavy trigger is usally only used in sporter rifle classes. This is when comp is done with rifles normally used for "hunting".

The rear is a Gehmann. It has colored filters and adjustable aperture. I have a 1.5 magnifier for it also but of course you can't use it for ISSF. Sometimes it is legal for some local shoots.

The sight is the original that came on it. It says it was made in Australia. Compatible with Anschutz accessories. The palm rest I built myself out of another rest to attach to the rail.

The bolt handle recess lined up but was to shallow so that had to be deepened. The end of the receiver recess of the stock had to have some material removed for the bolt to work. The loading port didn't have any issues at all, and a new hole was drilled to match the front receiver screw. A little ma...

I have sent the pic outs hopefully somebody can post them for me. Also I did a trigger job on it also. The original trigger is like 2lbs or so. I did the job using information on rimfire central. By changeing the pivot point of the trigger and doing a little spring work, the trigger now just under 6...

I have put my Kimber 82g into a Anschutz stock. I actually bought it from a fellow on target talk. It is a wood 1813 or 1713 stock I think. The wood has to be rerouted in a few places. Not just a drop in. Anybody who is handy at that type of stuff should not have a problem. Shoots very well.

I use a older model Samsung with a 18x optical and a 900x digital zoom. A friend of mine has a Sony with a 60x optical and like a 1200x digital zoom. The viewfinder on mine is about 2x2. and can be turn and and set to any angle to view. If I wanted I could even put it on my offhand stand and look at...

With a video camera you can mount this to a tripod and by setting the view finder you can look at it without having to move position to look through scope. With the new batteries mine can last at least an hour because you are not taping, you just have to turn the battery saver mode off so it doesn't...

Shooting is in 3p and prone small bore. Some of the rule quotes I do not think apply. a video camera without a cards or tape in it is unable to playback sound, I think you will also find this pertains to spotting and coaching on the line( example headphones with a radio in it to hear the spotter or ...

digital camera for spotting

I have been using my digital video camera for spotting during practince. It makes spotting easier, to use the view screen than looking through my spotting scope.( have also hooked it up to a small tv) With the new cameras the optics are as good if not better than scopes. My question are they legal f...

Has any body experimented with changing your front sight color to another for better clarity (or rear sight)?
