Do an ebay search for "1000 gram tension gage". A Swedish made Haldex that originally sold for $350, can be had for less than $50 shipped.

Put a small drop of lube on the sear notch. I had a similar problem with mine. The trigger weight went up to over 700 grams within the first 2000-3000 rounds and I couldn't adjust it below 600 grams. It has over 10000 rounds on it now and it's still holding at the 525 grams I set it at after lubing ...

Don't forget the Walther LP400. You can get the carbon barrel if you don't like an aluminum shroud.

I stand corrected. My pistol operates the same as yours. The selector can be pushed to the fire position after dry firing downwards. However, it can't be pushed back to dry fire. I personaly don"t have a problem with the slight rattle when the pistol is in the un-cocked position. Perhaps the Ge...

It is the hammer/striker. In the un-cocked position it has a small amount of front to rear movement. Fire the pistol in the dry fire position while pointed at the floor. After firing and keeping the pistol pointed down, try to gently push the selector to the fire position. You shouldn't be able to b...

I'm shooting the Champions Choice 4.49's in my LP-400. They shoot fine. I bench tested them against R10 pistol weights and some old Vogel greens out of curiosity. The CC's shot the best, although by only a half mm or so with 10 shot groups. All of the groups were slightly larger than a single pellet...

Thanks Scott. I ended up putting a 1.5 amp fuse in mine as well with no problems. I wonder if Rika failed to up rate the fuse when they went from the European 220 volt 30 watt motor to the US 110 volt 30 watt motor. The US motor draws twice as much current as the European version. Their parts list s...

Questions for Rika World Champion target system owners/users

I recently purchased a Rika target return system from Pilkguns and am having a few issues . I'd call them but they're closed over the weekend. First guestion. Do you have problems with the original 1 amp fuse blowing once the unit warms up? Second question. Does the pulley on your unit get fairly wa...

Thanks for the information Richard. That's what I was hoping to hear. I'm thinking about picking one up while in Germany. I can use it in the US by replacing the wall wart with one made for 110v 60hz and the right output voltage.

Is the wall plug permanently attached to the unit or does it plug in to the back of the unit?

Häring EL3 Target runner

Is anyone here familiar with the Häring EL3 target runner? I'm looking for information on the power requirements for the unit. It appears that the unit has a wall mounted power supply. I'm wondering if it could be replaced with a U.S. 110v version.

My scuba tank was delivered Thursday. Stopped by the dive shop and had it filled for $5. I've already filled the LP400 twice. Scuba's the way to go if you have a shop that'll fill for you.

I'd like to thank everyone for thier replies. I've decided to go the scuba tank route. The local industrial gas supplier informed me that thier standard nitrogen and compressed air tanks are only filled to 2000 psi. They had 4500 and 6000 psi tanks that would have required 2 people and a pickup to m...

Comercial / Industrial Cyllinders

Does anyone know if there are other options (ie...industrial compressed air cylinders), aside from scuba tanks, for filling pistol and rifle cylinders? The closest dive shop is 60 miles away and we have 3 industrial gas / welding supply places locally. I noticed that Champions has a 200 DIN valve fo...

I'm aware that there are two different gages with different rim diameters. However, the spindle diameter should be the same for both.

I'm looking at doing them for both the standard NRA (ie....A17, A36) and the USA 50. Yes, they are 50 foot targets.

Smaller diameter of scoring gages

I'd like to make a few .22 scoring gages. I have the larger diameters for the NRA and USAS gages, however I'm not sure of the smaller diameters that actually go into the paper. Can someone with with a gage and micrometers help me out? Thanks.
