About 15 years ago in Massachusetts I decided I wanted to buy an air pistol for plinking in my backyard. I found out that I needed a license to carry handguns for this. So I went and filled out the forms, took the classes and got fingerprinted, just to be able to buy an air pistol. About 4 months la...

Later versions that do not have the low pressure pin in front of the trigger are less prone to leakage. I bought one in 94 and it started leaking and needed converting about 8 years later. You can fill it with either c02 or air. If you prefer a heavier gun like an old Feinwerkbau, it is preferable. ...

the Docter has an automatic brightness adjustment. It gets very bright in outdoor sunlight, as well as dims down in darker ranges. I only removed mine because I wanted to concentrate on iron sights. It worked great and did not change the balance at all. The only real annoyances were what you mention...

If you absolutely must have an Ultradot... http://www.bme-mounts.com/products.html Removing the sights (or putting them back) on the gun is not for the squeemish. Have a gunsmith do it if you don't have a vise and a means to make sure you don't lose the bits or mar the finish. Anything other than th...

Can you give details?

Feinwerkbau aw93 sights question

Can anybody tell me how to re-install the rear iron sights on my aw93?
Specifically, where the big spring goes.
Thanks,
Walter

I don't think I would want to have to adjust the trigger on either of those guns.
Have you considered the Walther?

Shoot the pellets through.
You don't need pellets.
Use fishing line doubled up and pull a small patch through the bore with a little TSI301 or Tetragun cleaner.
Pellets don't cut into the bore like 22's and lead is it's own lubricant so you don't really want to clean it much.

Now make sure you don't blow your balls off when you unscrew it after filling it up. You may have loosened the threads to the canister.

AW-93 Extraction question

I'm having a bit of a problem with my aw93. when brass is being extracted, the extracting brass scrapes against the next bullet, causing either slight scratching or heavy gouging of the lead on the next round. My initial thought was that the magazines were both becoming worn enough to bring the bull...
