Later versions that do not have the low pressure pin in front of the trigger are less prone to leakage. I bought one in 94 and it started leaking and needed converting about 8 years later. the Docter has an automatic brightness adjustment. It gets very bright in outdoor sunlight, as well as dims down in darker ranges. I only removed mine because I wanted to concentrate on iron sights. I'm having a bit of a problem with my aw93. when brass is being extracted, the extracting brass scrapes against the next bullet, causing either slight scratching or heavy gouging of the lead on the next round.
