Removing stock of Daisy 853 - help!
Is it complicated to remove the barrel and action of the 853 from the stock? If not, I would appreciate a description of how it is done. Object: to refinish the stock.

Hi, Mike I'm not an airgun competitor but that could change, I suppose. I shoot offhand because I enjoy the challenge. Shoot silhouette some, sporter class smallbore. I'd like a self contained rifle without weird recoil effect that doesn't require tanks, pumps, all that stuff. A good, clean breaking...

Shooting without clothes
I haven't tried shooting without clothes but suspect I'd be looking over my shoulder too much to see if anyone was looking and would shoot very poorly. Seriously, I shoot standing postition only and notice a big difference when I'm wearing stiff, supportive shoes instead of tenny runners or soft loa...

I know little about air rifles, and need help in selecting an accurate SSP for daily home practice. I shoot standing only.
