Please tell us what kind of compressor you got for that price and where you bought it. Thanks for the help.

Re: Morini 162ei air cylinder dates

I respect SPEKTR's opinion regarding following the law. The world would probably be a better place if more folks adhered to it. However, there are some cases where the law is absurd. Think of any dictatorship in recent history for many examples. Or any democratic country for that matter. Of course, ...

So mine read "03.10". Does that mean March 2010 or does it mean October 2003?

What kind of firearm are you shooting? I use a S&W Model 41 and made a hammer block for it. See this link:

Re: Blackening rear and front sight

I use Birchwood Casey Sight Black, an aerosol spray product in a small can. It's very non-reflective and deep black. Unfortunately it's also messy. It's non-permanent, smudges off at the slightest touch, and, because it's an aerosol spray, you can never blacken JUST your sights. You will almost alwa...

Re: Rimfire dryfireing and snap caps

I generally find any snap caps for .22 dry firing pretty useless, whether made from plastic or aluminium. They just wear too fast for any meaningful training. I resolved this problem by making an insert that prevents the hammer from striking the firing pin. See this thread (http://www.targettalk.or...

Re: Moving powder, primers in summer heat

Before moving to Arizona I lived in the southern Mojave desert in California and kept my powder and primers in an un-airconditioned garage for years with no ill effects. FWIW.

So, when does personal responsibility enter into this equation? Oh,... I forgot. In today's litigious society, never.

Don't think it's about education. IMHO, it's about CONTROL.

Re: BRNO Aeron B98 Repair Advice

I couldn't find an exploded diagram on-line, but I believe the gas firing valve system is related to the design used in the BRNO Tau-7. The magazine advancement system shouldn't be involved in a leak. The one part I'm uncertain about is the PCP pressure regulator design. If that is leaking, it's un...

BRNO Aeron B98 Repair Advice

I own a BRNO Aeron B98 5 shot PCP pistol that leaks. Both cylinders hold pressure but when attached to the pistol lose pressure completely overnight. I'd like to send it to someone for repair if possible. Our host does not service this pistol so I'm looking for an alternate repair source. Failing th...

Thanks for your input I would of assume that it would be more popular I guess that's why there's not many 5 shot AP? But what about training with a 5 shot AP for the 25 m rapid fire? Do many people train with an AP? Same question for me. Moving from California to Prescott, AZ and looking for NRA Pr...

Re: Advice for shooter with cataracts?

Most insurance companies will not authorize surgery for minor obscuration. Your ophthalmologist should be able to tell you whether or not each eye qualifies for corrective surgery. If you non-aiming eye is much worse than the master eye, you may not be able to wait to have your master eye done first...

Re: 10 meter pistol scoring?

Most club level shooters will have little trouble scoring ten shots per target when using the targets mentioned by Gwhite. Unfortunately true. I long for the day when someone tells me that I may only shoot two shots per target to promote ease of scoring. Presently, it seems like 20 is an OK number....

Re: Guide Rod Jamming on 45 BE pistol

Hand tighten may be the problem - but does the loosening cause the rod to jam? Your 5 inch gun is likely a bushing barrel, unlike the Bull barrel which uses a different spring plug altogether. The combination of the Bull barrel, Top Hat spring plug and out-of-center 2-piece guide rod is the combina...
