smallbore and air rifles are similar, yet very different. usually scores tend to be higher in air rifle. if your son saying he doesn't like the feel of his anschutz because it is an anschutz, then maybe you should look into other namebrand rifles (and fwb does make a sb rifle). if he doesn't like hi...

trigger pull problems

i am a smallbore/air rifle shooter and lately (the past couple of months) i have found it extremely difficult for me to pull the trigger in both prone and kneeling. at the beginning of the year my coach lightened up my trigger, but after trying it for 3 weeks and having nothing but trouble and an im...

master camps

i think it is an excellent idea to have a camp open to adults. i've been thinking about this too, because it seems like the majority of the camps in this country are designed for juniors. where do those juniors go when they get older and leave college? a camp open to adults would be great!

federal ammo

i used to use federal ultra match for matches, and federal target (i think that's the same thing as 711B) for practice. it worked well for me in my anschutz 1912. i got word that they were going to discontinue making it, so i switched over to eley black for matches and eley white for practice. it wo...

undergarmets

i would try underarmor, the kind made for hot weather. it would be smooth on your elbow, and wicks away moisture and body heat. i would wear it under whatever you use for a sweater, for a little extra cushion.
