it was always my understanding that the NDT was like a junior national team. it was used to select the top junior shooters who are up and coming but might not quite be ready to be put on the national team. hence "development" in their name. someone correct me if i'm wrong though...

But for those of us who know we will not make those lifestyle changes and have enough realization of what that means and understand our limitations; USAS could not care less about us. Frankly, I see no reason to think that USAS thinks about people at all. When I have spoken to team members, well, t...

i had a real problem with foot pain from standing too long and my feet from mid calf down would go to sleep on me making it very difficult to shoot. i got the kurt thune memory foam inserts when i got my new boots and they've helped quite a bit. i still have my feet go to sleep on me, but i last lon...

well shooting from a bench and shooting from the shoulder can produce different results. that's also why you need to sight in every time you get down into position (theoretically it shouldn't happen if you're in the perfect position all the time, but for practical purposes there will always be a lit...

Wow. This comes as a grave dissapointment to me. I am currently in the process of trying to get a smallbore club started at my university and wonder if something like this will happen to us, where school regents and $ doners force school administrations to shut down programs because of their politi...

personally, i love having it canted and i like the cross hairs a lot more than just the standard straight bar across. i find that it's easier to center for me. maybe if you put it in a rest and looked through your sights and adjusted it like that you can get it straight. however, if you're canting y...

not to sound insensitive, but DAMN IT! it's idiots like this guy who f-it up for the rest of us. this whole act is disgusting and cowardly. already i saw on an online video talk of the clinton gun ban and how letting it expire allows for a magazine to hold an extra 9 rounds... it's all a tragedy. i'...

i went from an anschutz 2002 wood to the 9003 and the only thing i like more about the 9003 stock is the adjustable hand grip - which i switched out with a 2002 wood hand grip because i hated the plastic one that came with the gun. now i'm saving up for a wood cheek piece. i can't stand the one i'm ...

when shots are moving like that my coach always reminds us of our sight alignment. you could have done something consistent for 3 shots, adjusted, then done something slightly different. i'd focus on that first before doing anything major. oh and make sure the sights are tight.

fill out the form near the end of your junior year. i filled mine out in april'ish and got my letter from the ncaa saying i was cleared the following january. other suggestions if you're looking at shooting in college: keep your grades up, you look more attractive if you can get some academic money ...

i've only seen one person using the gemini stock and they shoot for navy. personally i use a gemini buttplate in kneeling which i got used for $150 (a steal i know!) i would love to get two more, one for each position, but i can't afford it and don't even really know where to go to order one. i love...

i don't think so because i know several people who use that style glove especially shooting with the fist.

i shoot with a palm position and when i was trying on gloves a couple of years ago i tried kurt thune. that thing was damn near impossible to bend how i need it to. i ended up buying a sauer. it's the one with the smooth white plastic. here's a photo: http://www.nealjguns.com/ss_store/media/15440L.j...

one thing that i found with 3-p air is that your hold is a lot better than it looks. so in kneeling i was having a really fast, but small movement in my hold. i was jerking the shot or trying to use muscle to get it to stop. what i found to work was to just trust the hold and have a smooth pull. it ...

i was very interested in duquesne my senior year (2004) and got an e-mail back from the coach saying that the program was going to be dropped the following season (04-05). i later heard something that their range was tore down and the school refused to build another one. really, it's too bad.
