Different colours of foresight inserts

Why are there different colours ? I have seen a pale pink and yellow.
How does it help ?
Should one go for it ? What should be the selection criteria ?

Thanks TerryKuz, noted. We do have folks who do fill SCBA tanks to 200 bar or more. I guess they ensure only dry air gets in the tank to be filled. Manish Moisture traps are pretty ineffective. I would suggest a scba tank if you can get fills. Scba has no water so the investment will save on mainten...

Many thanks

Many thanks for the reply. An investment in a new cylinder, moisture trap unit and 200 bar air tank is in order. Wondering if I will need a regulator.

Bought it.

I had a very small window of opportunity so travelled and checked that its working fine and bought it. The cylinder mamo meter is not working and is certainly old. I am wondering how seriously should the word be taken on cylinder expiry date. Not that I want to go against the grain but wondering if ...

What to inspect in a used FWB P70 before paying ?

I have been told by present owner that he is using it for seven years and the meter on the cylinder is not working. He claims its in good working condition.

What do I look for so I dont land myself a lemon. He is asking for a thousand US dollars.

Please advise.

Manish.

See if this helps..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mnbI9Nfu4c Manish Hi, A newbie here from India. Very recently discovered the joy shooting air rifle. I was happy with rimfire and 12 bore shotgun so far. A Chinese springer to start with. Looking forward to switch over to PCP. Am getting the tar...

Junior models not allowed in ISSF competitions ?

Recently a target shooter who participates in national level 10mtr AR ISSF category here in India said that junior models of 10mtr air rifles like the FWB 700 Junior are not allowed in 10mtr AR ISSF and that is why they go for models like the FWB700 Universal, which is the most popular AR here. Is t...

Opinions on the Hammerli AR20 for 10mtr AR

Hello I am looking for user opinions on the AR20. Will replace my FWB300S Junior. I am not looking forward to spending a lot of money on our next 10mtr air rifle.

Thanks a lot,

Re: stock for Feinwerkbau 300SU

Fantastic.....Simple and Practical....... Manish I've had a few people ask to see how I made a stock for the fwb300S. Picture attached hopefully. I'm quite tall so the stock was proportioned accordingly. Its adjustable, but only for small amounts. I made it to meet ISSF rules. If I was to make it ag...

Re: fwb 300s (spring)vs fwb 600series (ssp) vs fwb P70/700(p

I have a FWB300S Junior and shoot 83-85% scores with it. I find the cocking relatively easy and cock it on the shooting stand itself. I have altered its balance by filling the two 20x120mm cylindrical slots with lead as advised by Robin and I think it does improve the balance for me. I would probabl...

Robin, Many thanks for your encouraging words. As I analysed it, my natural point of aim appears to be towards the bottom of the target...somewhere in the area of the 4 and 1 ring (as seen through the sights). I would appreciate it if I can get some detailed help on bringing my NPOA at the 10 or 9 r...

Gary, Agree with you completely. I have been taking it in in small pieces......Thanks Manish It takes a LOT of reading, and you have to be selective about learning a little bit at a time. If you try to do it all at one, you WILL be overwhelmed, as it seems you were. Example you might just work on th...

Yes I agree with you on getting coached. Have not had any luck so far as the coaches are also preparing for competitions. Recommended front sight insert size for FWB300S Junior

Experten....

I am thinking there must be a size that works well for most....I have a 3.6 and I am finding it difficult to maintain the sight picture. Could it be my holding and that I need to practice more or should I buy a smaller insert ?

Please advise....Thanks...

luftskytter Thanks for your reply. In my country the apex body has scrapped 10mtr open sight category which was the foundation level for shooting and a cheap entry point into the world of shooting. Not everyone will be able to afford the 10mtr match rifles which cost 4 figures in Euros or US$ hence ...

Does anyone....

shoot local matches with Spring piston guns like HW30S/BSA Meteor, but not FWB300/S or Diana 75 and Peep sights.

Of course I know the PCP shooters will score better. What kind of scores are achieved with the Spring piston guns ?

Thanks
