I shot a GX1 for 4-position for about 8 years. It was a very comfortable rifle to shoot, had good balance in off hand and a decent trigger. The bolt layout was weak as it only had one extractor and the design on the ejector wasn’t too good either. Many times it would not totally eject the spent cart...

The system you have was very similar to the one used on the Winchester Model 52C. Al Freeland's version was an attempt to improve on the Winchester version, neither of which proved to be the answer all.

HAMMERLI 280 Question

Have been casually shooting pistol for a number of years now and decided to get serious about it. I located a near new HAMMERLI 280 with all the standard accessories including a mounted red dot sight. Asking price is $1075. I would greatly appreciate any opinions (pro, con, reliability etc...) about...
