The best answer is quoted above ^^^

No way that I would shoot at a range that cannot control ricochets using a proper back stop.

Re: Bloomer Air Pistol Match-$8 Bloomer, WI March 31st, 201

Thanks to Chip we had another excellent air pistol match here in Bloomer, Wi. The normal drive up at about 1.5 hours turned into just over 2 hours because of the winter storm front coming through. I am thinking to myself...why am I doing this ? Because there is no all year/summer long shooting close...

Re: Nelson .22lr conversion opinions?

I have 3 of them. In my opinion, they are the best .22 conversions available. Three of them ? I have my old Marvel that has only let me down one time after seven years of firing it, the firing pin broke and borrowed a pistol from a fellow shooter to get through the match. I am not a back up gun kin...

Re: Why we still shoot the 45?

Hello all When will the NRA change the rule for the 45 portion of the match to be shot with a 9mm? I shoot 22 and the Beretta in service pistol, but i can not shoot a full 2700 bcs i prefer to not shoot the 45 NRA has the 2700 all in 22s , i tried it once, but found it super boring to shoot 3/4 of ...

Re: Lighting variations and adjusting impact point

I try to keep it simple.
My sight picture always stays the same, it is what my eyes/mind sees.
Do not try to readjust your sight picture, it would be like using Kentucky windage on all your shots, bad idea.
Sights have these things that you can twist and turn; use them.
Just my .02 cents

Re: Drulov-75

Greetings, I came across a Drulov-75 in like new condition with the box. Sadly, it is left handed and no parts list. I have learned it was made in the Czech Republik. Does anyone know precisely what firm made the pistol? Are they still in business? Neither Nill nor Rink catalog a grip for this mode...

Thanks Norm... One quick question: Can you load .357 cases with 158gn LSWC to reduce the jump to the rifling or is it against the rules? Thanks DAF Has to be 38 specials. The rules for DR are only one paragraph. Worth reading, not interpreting. I fired the entire match single action. To me, DA is f...

Re: Air Pistol Match in Bloomer Wisconsin April 8th, 2017

Thanks Chip and Jerry for putting on a good match. Everything ran smoothly. The best thing is that there were no incidents, all shooters had good muzzle awareness which made it a safe match. I felt that the majority of the shooters showed interest and am aware of at least one lady novice shooter is ...

Purchase a Hill hand pump from Pilk with your proper adapter and don't look back.
Learn how to really use it to it's full potential.
Never an issue over the years.
