Rob runs a great match. It's friendly, low key and at a very nice range. Come join in!
Cheers, Steve

Re: Rink grips
Off topic because it is not a Rink grip but... I sent Andrew at www.precisiontargetpistolgrips.com my highly modified grip with some further modification requests and he was able to duplicate it and incorporate the mods I wanted. In over 3000 rounds I haven't felt any need to modify it further and i...

The Psyche of the Shot discusses abdominal (diaphragm) breathing in depth. The listed benefits include a lowered center of gravity, relaxation of upper body muscles and a general calming effect.

Shooting Sports USA magazine has an excerpt from Bullseye Mind in the latest issue. The article Where Confidence Comes From is a good example of the content and writing style.

I've seen a similar one go for a similar price except it included the factory sights and a MEC 3 butt plate.

Re: Legal questions
Yeah, more and more FFL' s are requiring shipment from an FFL. If I buy a long gun from you and you ship it to my FFL as an individual and I don't except the shipment or do not pass the background check, my FFL is stuck with it without an easy resolution.

Re: Small bore prone scope-ring-reticle recommendations
Leupold can change the reticle in a scope for a fee. So if you think you need to try a different reticle or you get a fantastic deal on a scope and want to change the reticle, that is an option. The pricing varies a bit between scope models and reticle choices, so you would have to contact Leupold. ...

Precision Target Pistol Grips
I asked Andrew for a custom grip for my Morini CM162ei. I sent him my much modified grip to copy with a list of changes that I wanted. After a lot of work by Andrew and and a lot of excellent communication back and forth, I have my grip. After having shot a few hundred rounds with it now, I have to ...

Re: Book on Mental Aspects of Pistol Shooting
Bullseye Mind is a very good book. It is well organized, repeating and interweaving fundamentals. It applies not only to pistol but the other shooting disciplines as well. I just finished reading it, and found it to be well organized, and covering all the mental things it took me over thirty years ...

Re: What to use to Build up a Synthetic Grip?
It dries like hard rubber. Very, very little flex. Carves very well after hardening, sanding, not so much. Carves better than sanding so that maybe a consideration on how you want to do your fit fine tuning. Cures hard over night, seems to be more or less fully cured after a day or so. I've had a fa...

I just received the book, haven't started reading yet, so no review of contents. FWIW, it's about 6" by 9" and 124 pages.

Re: cmp aces postal results
You pay an entry fee and the CMP sends you targets. You shoot the match and send the targets back and they are scored via the Orion scoring system. If you have access to electronic scoring you can submit the electronic file.

Re: pardini 22 issues
I have used the Brownell's chamber 'iron' to good effect on a couple of different .22 pistols. S&W Mdl 41, Hammerli 208 and a friend used it on a High Standard. It did away with the need to 'oil' rounds to enable reliable function of the Mdl 41 as long as the chamber was kept relatively clean. I...
