Hi Rick,

I would be contacting Chris from Frontier Arms in Adelaide and advising the problem. Being the importers, they would be your best bet to have the problem resolved.

If you come to the CMPC champs at SISC next wekend 20-21, you might see some fellow shooters with the LP400

Importing new air pistols to Australia

Can someone help with the cheapest way to bring in new firearms from europe to Australia. I guess I need a custom agent/carrier and a dealer to process the registration? As I can buy new Steyr Air Pistols from Germany $1000 cheaper than I can get new in Australia. Surely the import costs and dealer ...

Re: MG1H

Do you own one of these? What is your opinion of the trigger? No, I do not have this pistol, but would like to hear from someone who has handled this particular gun. It seems that it may give Morini and Steyr a run for their money... I had a look at one during the Australian National Titles last we...

Re: 6.2.2.2 for pistol

I have put some AUS pistol-based thoughts on CCI/CBI flags at http://www.nrc-pa.com/CBI-CCI.htm Thanks for the info Spencer, although I do have a question about the flags during a match. During the Aus Cup 2 in Brisbane last weekend, before the 50M event we were told that safety flags MUST be used ...

It's been suggested to me by another source that Hammerli FP parts are too hard to get and to avoid them in favor of something else. I have an FP60 and absolutely love it. Parts are no problem, I made sure before buying. I wasnt keen on the Morini, I have had one before and dont like the balance of...

I have seen a few ladies change brands, but most are happy with the Morini or Steyr

Out of curiosity, what is the reason your wife want to upgrade from the Morini to the Walther? Morini is still very much competitive, while Walther is still a question mark. The wife has plateaued with her Morini. I will be keeping mine, but she is just looking for something different. Another opti...

It is a very good pistol, the carbon covered barrel version is really lightweight. It is a major progress compared to the previous LP300. But it is unfortunately also a great progress (increase) in price ! Last point, another drawback: it is pretty expensive, more expensive for instance than the LP...

Walther LP400 reviews

Can anyone share their thoughts on the LP400 pistols please?
As my wife is looking at upgrading her old Morini CM162EI

Re: Selecting a 25m Center Fire Pistol

Hello, Yesterday I shot a Walther GSP .32 Wadcutter, and I liked the feel of the pistol. I was considering the purchase of a .32 pistol, therefore I wanted to ask you your opinions. At the moment I'm considering the Walther GSP and the Pardini HP. What are your thoughts on these pistols and are the...

Re: 32 S&W Long dilemma

I have a 32 S&W Long dilemma, I shoot a Walther GSP in 32 and get 2 or 3 near duds out of every 100 fired. Yesterday at a match I had 2 that barely made the target. The shooter next to me also shot a GSP and had one that just hit the bottom of the paper. So I realized it may be a common problem...

Good grief. I am looking forward to seeing this rule applied on the shotgun line. Don't hold your breath, shotgun has different rules. Rob. Yeah, Shotgun rules are not such a pain in the butt like the new safety flag for rifle and pistol... I am only complying with the rules because i enjoy my spor...

I knocked up a quick Air Pistol flag this morning at work. It's made from a stainless steel two-way radio antenna covered in red heat shrink. Not sure if it will suffice. What do you think ? The buffer area at the front prevents the hard metal rod pushing up against the pellet loading ram. Being so...

For Spencer and David Levine

Will the Anschutz Safety Look plug be allowed for Air Pistols under the new regulations?

See item below:

What about a cleaning rod with a coloured mop ? Orange or Lime Green... Hi David, Sounds good, but where to buy a coloured mop and will Spencer approve this option for Australian events? In any event remember that safety flags are not checked or required at EC under the ISSF rules. So when and where do we use the flags if they are not required at EC? So what is the real purpose of the flags then??? As I have said in the past, nothing beats an RO inspecting the firearm then the shoo...

Hi David,

That is an option, but Spencer has not released what he will approve for Australia yet. With Aus Cup 1 fast approaching, i dont want to be caught short having something not approved.
