Like Rustam says its is easy to do but it is covered in the manual that comes with the gun. I adjusted mine a few months back but you do need to put it through a chrono and fire a few shots after each adjustment. Alsoit is only a very small turn to change velocity so do it in small increments. Once ...

Alex, That's a shame I would have thought all experienced shooters would be welcomed as 'helpers' maybe they have too many already ? Have fun with the fishing and continued shooting. I would however advise you get yourself along to watch at least some of the events, as I did when they were in Englan...

A while ago, I came across some coated air gun pellet ( will not produce lead dust on impact ) offer for sale, so, no matter you are pro or con about using lead as projectile, I think changes may, be force on us, I hope ammo makers are working on this. Tony, As I understand it lead will be outlawed...

I think Bubba has it about right. The ISSF (for their sanctioned events) constantly monitor shooting developments and make rule changes as required (some might say interfere too much). There will always be new developments that may give small advantages but anything dramatic will see other competito...

I also really don't beleive in denying peoplethe ability to compete because they require medicine that would actually just bring them up to a normal level ( I know it would be impossible to police). Exemptions are available for some of the banned drugs if really needed but also where exemptions are...

Steve, In my opinion guns need to fire projectiles although I don't have a problem with the type (air or bullet), but hey I would say that since I'm allowed air in the UK ;-) Open sights are best but I doubt the best shooters would fall by the wayside if another sighting technology became more popul...

Re: Thinking inside the box
Steve Swartz said: You guys are so thinking inside the box here. Why have a trigger at all? Why not connect an electronic triggering device to an optical sensor which can be activated by the winking of your (non-dominant) eye? Why not connect the optical device to electrodes permanently implanted i...

Re: to Robbstubbs
To Robbstubbs: I have used a M 162 Electronic for about 3 years. I now use a M162 Mechanical. I prefer the latter. I have traded off the M162 E, and have no regrets about that. I, and my pals shoot a lot, each probably about 25.000 pellets pr year (a case), and compete in more countries. 99 % is a ...

I think you'll find 99% of morini owners would vehemently disagree with you. One of the major pluses of the EI is the electronic trigger which is crisper than the manual equivalent. I don't shoot one but looking down the firing line in competitions I have seen zero manual 162's and probably 30 or 40...

One aspect I'm trying to enforce is proper and more rapid trigger control. I've just started shooting slow fire with a spotting scope so that if I hold too long and fire a bad shot, I'll get the immediate feedback necessary. I don't get that during dryfire, and as such I tend to hold longer and lon...

Re: New air pistol or Rika trainer?
My primary motivation is improving my bullseye shooting, I will probably never shoot an air pistol match. I'm a little bit confused. If you will never shoot an AP comp then why do you want to improve ? That's probably worded wrong but to just check what your scores are etc I don't see any point in ...

And in the interests of fairness how many went to Steyr shooters for example ? In air I think I Steyr had the edge slightly whereas I don't know the details for the other events. I do think these kind of statistics can be missleading if not put into proper context. Not of course that I'm doubting mo...

I think it's fair to say the latter only applies to some parts of Europe and Asia. Perhaps the majority - I don't know, but for sure in the UK it doesn't apply. I wouldn't be at all suprised if the more successful international shooters weren't full time and effectively professional athletes though,...

The pardini also looks 'odd' and that certainly puts some people off. I have the K22 (UK long arm version) and the trigger is nice and crisp but the mechanics behind it mean that it certainly requires more force than the electronic trigger of the morini. I too would have opted for the morini but the...
