The FAS grips were unusual.
I think we have all seen similar breaks on various pistols. I can remember 5 on FAS 602/603s in the late 1980s. Yes, I can imagine that. But remember, the FAS semi-auto grips had an alarmingly thin "rim" of wood around the rear of frames. I have owned two FAS semiautos. Still have one in ...

Re: Velocity of LP10
How do you increase the velocity of a Steyr LP10? I cannot find any instructions in the book. At the Club last week, it was pointed out to me that as the targets were tearing on the Back of the targets, it was due to a low velocity of the pellets. The guys reckon that an increase in velocity will i...

"Reliable grip"
The importer is about to clear up this matter.buonvento wrote:Send an email to Stefano Calzetti at matchguns.com, I'm sure they will send you another one...
Yes, my MG5 deserves a good, "reliable" grip.
The MG5 is a recommendable FP, in my opinion.

Unfavorable piece of grip wood
... Looking at the pix of the break (clean).... Yes. the break is clean, and the orientation of the wood fibres is clearly visible too. I think that is the cause of this mishap. I will not blame MG for this failure yet, as the grip may be a subcontractor product (?) I have been in tuch with the imp...

Ill have to get a new grip...
I badly need a new grip, but... I'll stick to the MG5 because of: - the reasonably good mechanical trigger - the fully adjustable, and "near" perfect rear sight assembly - it's "shootablity",- the pleasing undefineable feel you get when holding and aiming the MG5,...when some ext...

Not bad, not bad
Anyway, have you had any problems with your piece so far? What are your two cents on the pistol. No problems so far. But, the pistol is much too light up front. (Relativelly more so than the FP 10, 'cause the action of FP 10 was come 100 grams lighter than that of the MG5.) An undesirable feature o...

Bottom not flat...
My comp is the black flat type. The picture from Jack shows a blue (older version?) compensator with a flat bottom. Your gun has the same black compensator as my MG5E. The upper part of your compensator (to the rear of the gas ports) are flat, but to small for attaching glue-on wheel rim weights. B...
