I've used mine exclusively in bullseye for 2 years now, and am well satisfied.

I have to take issue with the "GT45 is pricey" 'problem." A stock Springfield Armory 45 is signigigantly cheaper than a pardini 45, ....but, by the time you get done bringing it up to the accuracy and reliability of the pardini as it comes from the box, I doubt that there's much of a ...

Initially, not having a big hand, I took Don Nygord's advice, and took the grip panels off, and wrapped the grip frame in skateboard tape. That worked acceptably well. BUT, then Rink started offering a replacement grip. it's excellent. Also, I chose to mount a Docter sight on mine, which is used for...

I'm pretty sure that case lengthening takes place because of the tendency of brass to flow under heat and pressure of firing. You size them back into shape, but, when you do, they tend to lengthen.

The Match Guns site is back up. Makes me happy. It's an excellent web site.

I believe that the "don't clean" comment in the manual concerns the factory lubrication of the trigger group. My SP is my gun of choice for bullseye matches. I only clean it when the chamber gets a significant amount of that "mud" that all .22 firearms seem to build up. When need...

A great gun. It is pricy, but the gun is certainly comparable to a 208s.

But, the factory grip is the least-comfortable factory grip I've ever used. Rink or Nill grips are an essential upgrade.

Mine clearly says "Made in Switzerland," too.

Could you clarify your comment, Tycho?

Let me start by saying that I like my CM22. It is not my favorite standard pistol, but it is a fine gun. BUT.....The gun doesn't really fit into the "fitted" case it came in. The Swiss in general, and Morini, in particular, pride themselves on the excellence of their products. But they cou...

I was clued into SK Jagd Subsonic by target rifle shooters, who swore by it. To give Eley, SK, etc., the benefit of the doubt, is it possible that they are actually referring to rifle-length barrels when they differentiate ammo as "subsonic?"

The tip of the sear broke off. Don Nygord sent me a new one, saying that some of them had been tempered improperly, but that the problem had been solved. It was easily installed. That was more than a year ago, and I haven't had any problems since.

I've owned my MG-2 now for about 18 months. I had some problems with it initially, but, once they were corrected, the gun has worked flawlessly.

K15

I've had a K11 since 2000. It feels as good as any of the high-end AP's, and is a very forgiving gun. I've had a recent problem with one cylinder, but that doesn't seem unreasonable. I bought the K15, as well, just before Don Nygord fell ill. I haven't shot it enough to vouch for its durability, but...

They were imported by Nygord, and Brenzovich took over the franchise, last I heard. You said that you ordered one recently, so I suspect that you know that. I only repeat it here because I can't figure out why they would have been importable not that long ago, but are not now. Could this be a State ...

SAM free pistols

The free pistol Don hoped to sell was the SAM50. That is a different gun from the model that SAM & Hammerli share. I believe that the SAM site lists that gun as their FP60, while Hammerli shows it as the FP10. I bought one of the SAM50's from Donna Nygord. It has a trigger that feels like the tr...

Pardini USA

Nygord Precision was the exclusive source for Pardini in the US, and Larry's took Pardini over from Nygord's, and took their entire inventory of Pardinis with him when the deal was made. While he doesn't update his website very often, he is the main source for Pardini these days. Why not just call h...

From the picture alone: It looks like the trigger of the SAM K-11/15, without the trigger shoe.

Did they mean to leave it that way?

Benelli MP90 & 95

I think the MP90 is the top of the line, while the MP95, which I had, is the less adjustable of the two.

But, having said that, the MP95 is an excellent value.

sp ammo

I've had excellent results with Eley Standard Pistol (light blue box) and Eley Target Pistol / Rifle (Yellow box). I've found no difference in function or accuracy between the Eley Target Pistol and Target Rifle, and both come with a yellow label. I've also had excellent results with SK Subsonic, bu...
