Re: Morini 3D grip or Rink Grip?

I have the opportunity to change the grips of my air pistol (FWB P34), I want to know which are better grips, if the morini 3D or the rink grips. If somebody has experience in this grips change, I appreciate a lot your opinion. The grips that are the best for you may not be the best for anyone else...

For the slow fire pistol and standing position rifle finals it's actually 75 seconds per shot. For the 50m prone rifle it's 45 seconds per shot.

Re: SCATT Electronic Trainer question

I have a 5m SCATT sensor that accepts RJ45 (the 8 core cable) and a friend has a new SCATT unit that uses the RJ11 termination (the 4 core cable). Has anybody knowledge of if these two items are compatible and if so, what the pin-outs for each end are so that he may borrow my 5m unit? Can I suggest...

If you use the GSP then make sure you change back to the normal trigger before shooting a match. I have seen a few people try to claim malfunctions, especially in Rapid, only to find how embarrassing it is when the range officer discovers the problem.

I measured the distance from my eye to the front sight post and had lens ground for that exact distance. Just as important, especially for those with a negative prescription of greater than about 4, is the distance from the eye to the lens. For that reason it is better to have a vision test with yo...

Sorry, I can normally decypher babelfish type translations but this one has got me beat.

All of the words are there, probably in the wrong order, with the addition of many superfluous ones. As a result it is vitually impossible to work out what she was saying I'm afraid.

Re: best shooting Glasses

This question is for all of you experts who can answer it, which kind of glasses is better? One you get from an optometrist with added prescription, or specific shooting glasses made only for the purpose of shooting. Just look at the pictures from the major international matches to see what the top...

Sorry Gregg, not knowing anything about the elite coaches in the US, and very little about the shooters (or indeed other athletes) in their care, it would be wrong of me to comment on specifics.

The principle of transferability (is that a word?) of elite level coaching skills still stands though.

As I am a Brit this decision does not affect me at all. IMHO however, to be a coach to elite level pistol shooters you do not need to be extremely knowledgeable in pistol shooting techniques. By the time they reach elite level shooters already know how to line up the sights and pull the trigger. It ...

If we want to have the widest participation, get a lot of guys with MQSs and pick up a lot of quota slots I know that this doesn't apply to you Bill but I know several shooters who believe that a similar level of shooting is required to get an MQS and to win a quota place. The two are worlds apart....

Re: Walther SSP or FAS 607 in wolf's clothing

Could it be that since FAS has all but since disappeared - Walther has essential 'used' their design??? It looks to me like the only similarity with the FAS range, from the pictures anyway, is the general outline of the magazine. So far we have seen one set of drawings and heard of one photograph o...

I know you can put a 500 gm weight on the trigger to see if the overall weight is legal, but how do you measure the weights on each stage separately? You really need to use a dial guage with a clamped gun so that you can properly judge when the first stage movement stops. The big question is, why d...

According to the Chrony website, if it is a genuine Chrony then it should measure the speed of air pellets.

If it isn't a genuine one then it is anyones guess.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced air pellet chronogragraph then the Combro is extremely good value and very easy to use.

Yes, but you have to change the angle of your wrist to compensate. Having said that, I would be amazed if anyone really noticed the difference in arm height.
