I personally feel a great importance in the hook on the butt plate as a tool to being consistant with the position of the butt in the shoulder. Saying that if you use this butt and are comfortable that you are placing the butt in the same position, use it!

Happy shooting

Cheers Scott

Hi Dave I was having similar problems with pain in my palm and wrist. After talking to a few people I played around with a few different handstops and also the butt and handstop positions. I also changed from a wooden stock to a new precise stock and found that while I was shooting better scores I w...

Hi all As I am progressing in my shooting, I am finding my mind is always ticking over with ways that I can keep improving! Help with new rifle running in process

Hi All I am about to recieve my new 1913L in a precise stock, and was wondering what is the correct process involved in running in the rifle?? I am getting mixed responses from my club members and really want to correctly care for this rifle. Very excited to own my first 'brand new' rifle. As always...

My 2 cents I know that with my personal scuba tank it is secured to the wall of my garage and is in a position so as when I am filling it the air rifle tank is facing the wall. I bought the tank as an ex-rental from a dive shop, and it is now classified as a non-dive tank so that it can be certified...

At the moment I am using a 3.6. I was using a 4.0 but was playing one day and used from 3.0 up to 4.2 and I found that I had the best sight picture using the 3.6. I found that any smaller was a real challenge to have a consistant sight picture, as the gap between the black of the target and the fron...

I clean my riflle after every shoot, i do this religiously as past of my packing up process. Your body is a very complex thing. I dont shoot if i have had caffine or excess sugars, try not to eat so much before shooting ect!! Be consistant, patient and practice. Be relaxed before you get down into position. take the time to concentrate on your breathing and try to slow your heart rate down ...
