Re: Turbo Action?

I know Kent Reeve has a turbo prone rifle, their loading port is pretty small and somewhat hard to load from what I have heard, but I believe it can be relieved to make it easier. I shoot a 10X action in a prone stock, it needed some TLC to be competitive. If that AMU guy would start producing his a...

Re: Winchester 52D -Still Competitive in Smallbore Prone?

If it is accurate and you are comfortable with the Sitman stock you should be competitive. There are several shooters that still use 52's for prone, they are easy to load and can be made to shoot really well.

Give it a shot!

Re: Sling suggestions..........

Kev:

I just got an idea, why don't you just use one of your "man thongs" as your next sling? Only a little stretch right?

Now there is a visual for all of us.....

You are such a hulk!

I used a thune II for 10 years, but the past 2 seasons I went to a Jenson leather sling and really like it. I change the length so rarely,

I have one

I received one of the first sold in the US back in 99, it came with a 1913. I never had these issues, but I did bed the action and took the rubber bedding material out. I shot excellent for many years that way, light torque- about 27in lbs after bedding. You are right, with the neoprene like bedding...

scopes

I have both a Leupold 25X and 30X FX-3. Both with 3/8 min dot. I had used a Weaver T-24 for many years with a 3/8min dot. I just wanted a change. Like others have said, I like straight power scopes as they are lighter and have less things to go wrong. I shot with both scopes this summer but actually...

Does his 2313 stock currently use an adaptor block in it for the round action 1907 to fit in it? If it has an adaptor block, essentially that is the size of the square action 20 series action and you would be fine. I have a 2313 stock that was build for a round action ahg and that would not allow a ...

Not sure

I don't think you will have enough time to sign the release with CMP to get your wristband in order to get your packet. Don't think you can get your packet without the wristband, but I could be wrong.

Pdeal: You said the committee's decision was made with almost no shooter input. I don't know who all is on the comittee, but I do know a couple and yes they are ACTIVE shooters in the sport. I have never attended the shooters meetings at Camp Perry but from what I have heard they are poorly attended...

Hold on everyone, the end of the world is not near!!! Ok, of you that posted how many of you have broke 1100 on both days at Perry? Seriously, how many. Yes I have, I also am position and prone distinguished so I have shot some pretty darn good scores at Perry. Do you ever look at the scores below t...
