Hemmers I can see where your comming from regarding the recession that hit the world, however, the 8 pounds your paying at present for Tenex equates to aprox $16 Aus at the moment, I would pay that amount in a heartbeat. We are paying more than double that, around $32 Aus is the current price, you d...

I agree also, over here in Aus it cost over $30 for a packet of Tenex, nearly $20 for Match and $15 for Team. In over 5 yrs aprox Eley ammo has gone up over 30% in price and it was over priced back then. Our dollar compared with the pound is now better than its ever been, however the price still kee...

I have see an Anschutz sevice technicain do similar at a comp many years ago. He snapped the stock over his knee so it was in two bits, used some sort of epoxy type glue and put a long screw down through the action recess into the pistol grip. Said come back tomorow and was good as gold. Unfortunate...

More ajustment just gives you more options. Plus it gets the average punter buying their tweeky bits to bling there rifles out in search of those extra ten's. Personally I agree it should vertical to the trigger, so the triggers pull is square, however I dont think it necessarily has to be right und...

The trigger blade or shoe part if you like is 7mm wide and 22mm long. I think its a great trigger shoe, and have been using one for about 2 yrs now. However, I am currently saving my $$$$ to purchase a Tec Hro shoe. It has a lot more adjustment and I like the fact it has a very sharp and rough conta...

My first Alu stock was an Alpha Nova made by Don Brook of Australia. Apparently it was the first Alu stock made for a smallbore rifle in the late 80's early 90's, but dont hold me to that, its just what I have been told. I shot this with an 1813 action very well for a number of years, then made the ...

Guidolastra, I totally agree with what Eric U said in his last post, thats why I said batch OR batches if possiable, sometimes though only one will work out of what they have in stock for testing at the time, from what I have been told by a colleague who's been there. As to how you go about sending ...

Another solution is to get your local gun shop/dealer to sent your barrel and action to one of the ammo factory's such as Eley, Lapua, RWS etc and have them test it in there machine rest/vice, work out the best batch or batches and buy as much as you can afford then have it shipped right to your doo...

Most rear sight adjustable irises come with a locking ring which you can use to adjust the postion indicator mark on it so its easliy seen while in postion, ie 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock etc, once it has been tightly screwed into the rear sight. It may be this ring which is binding on the sight body caus...

I am a prone only shooter and I use a single stage trigger. I find you are able to achieve a more positive shot release with this method with out the hesitation you are talking of. It is far more easier in a pressure situation to use a small single movement to release the shot, than try a juggle pul...

You are correct laxratnd, the 1918 is just Anschutz's new stock. There are two models, one for the 14 to 19 series round action and one for the 20 series square action. As for the tube sunhat, you need to get one for what ever series barrel you have or measure the end of the barrel for a custom fit....

I agree with the last post, it could be a head space issue. It may well also be that as its a new rifle, the extractor claws havent yet worn in and could be struggling to spread open around the rim of the case as they enter the extractor slots in the barrel when closing the bolt on the chambered rou...
