I shoot about 555 on average in training, 540 in competitions and have done for the last 2 years looking back at my results. In fact I'm shooting better on average in practice matches 555 average but my competition scores at Nationals and Regionals have got worse. Over the last 2 years I've tried ev...

I created one last night with a friend's donor CM162 short and my CM162 long. Swapped Barrel and cylinders - kept the original long sight and grip. Was able to create a Short with a sight radius of 260-305mm. (I'm using the blow-back compensator from Interprodukter.se so different to standard compen...

CM162EI - short removing the rear sight extension
The CM162EI is listed as having the same sight radius as the long. Is it possible to remove the rear sight extension and fit a long grip (cut out on the short and the long is in different place due to rear sight extension)? This would in theory give you a much shorter sight radius. I appreciate that...

An optician sent me a .25 and .50 lens to put in front of my shooting lens (I currently don't use them as the lens I got from a local optician is focussed on the rear sight) so that I can attempt to find a better lens solution. I need to test them at the range but so far dry firing the 0.25 diopter ...

If you look at these sight picture posted above all show the front sight 100% lined up with aiming mark (distraction bull or whatever you want to call it!). This in itself surely leads to snatching - all lined up - go go..snatch or chicken finger as when its not all lined up you can't pull trigger. ...

Sorry to resurrect an old post but it seemed the most relevant. I had an aweful competiton weekend. One positive thing that came from the weekend was a discussion with a coach about sight picture problems. I explained that after 45 minutes I had shot just 3 competition shots. It was observed that my...
