Re: TSA locks and shipping

great link to previous thread on the subject. One thing I see repeated is mention of a "unloaded firearm certificate". I have flown out of Oakland Airport (CA) and Dallas TX (Love Field) and have never been asked to fill out the form/certificate. I have just declared my firearm to be unloa...

TSA locks and shipping

This question has also been posted on another forum to gain as much input as possible... I've shipped my rifle on my ticket more than once in a TSA approved case using TSA locks. TSA locks are flimsy at best and hardly secure the case. My grandson ships his rifle and uses decent masterlocks and has ...

.38 special reloading question

I'm loading .38 Special using Bullseye powder in .357 magnum cases to shoot in a Colt Trooper Mk 2. Do I need to make any adjustments to my load from .38 reloading tables? Do I just use .38 data with the exception of loading to .357 magnum COL? Am I right in assuming that with a larger case the same...

find at the LGS

Was at the LGS the other day shopping black rifles with my grandson and decided to heck out the used rack, only to find a Izhmash 7-4 in pristine condition with all its various parts (magazines, sights/snow covers, sling, harness, apertures, etc). That an Izhmash was at a LGS was unusual, but even m...

Starting a Junior Rifle Program

Our local gun club has started up a junior rifle program. We are very fortunate to have had rifles, mats, jackets, slings, etc donated to the cause. Our current activity is safety training and getting the kids comfortable shooting small bore rifles. I am looking for resources -- training guides, post...

LGM1

I've considered riser blocks, but as I said in my first post, I was looking for another alternative. If there isn't one, that's which way I'll go.

David: does the adjustment shown in the video work on an LP 50 as well?

choosing a match gun -- Rinks grips

I've ordered (and use) adjustable LH Rinks grips on a couple different .22LR match pistols. they are great. not cheap, but great. Larry's Guns was my source. they order once a month (at month's end) so depending on when you get an order in will influence when you recieve them.

Hammerli grips

I shoot a 208 and am a lefty. I got Rinks LH grips from Larry's Guns (in Maine) -- I am sure they are available elsewhere. There can be a time delay in receiving grips from Larry's depending on when you place an order in their ordering cycle, which is once per month (at the end of the month). Larry'...
