Re: Rika Home Trainer Targets
Obtain 6meter targets and shoot at that distance if you want an easier time comparing your training scores to range scores. Personally I don't care ... I only compare training to training, range to range and match to match when looking at groups/scores etc. IF that's your case shoot what you have an...

As far as accuracy potential no. The machining will determine the results. A stainless barrel takes a bit less attention to avoid corrosion, but I would imagine you would take proper care of either type of barrel. Some claims are made for longevity in centerfire guns, but they are mostly statistical...

Much of the reason there are so many Anschutz rifles in the US is or was availablity. For many years there were very few rifles imported to the US markets other than the Anschutz. All modern guns will outshoot all but the most (probably all) skilled humans. It's a matter of ergonomics more than accu...

Stay home unless your plan to win is by infecting everybody else. Your pulse rate will be up, your muscles will tremor more than normal, your ability to focus will be reduced and your vision will suffer because of reduced oxygenation and hydration. No drug will eliminate these physiological issues, ...

I think what Paul is asking is whether it would be easier to see a difference in group size by shooting a longer distance. Longer distance equates to more linear dispersion hence an easier time discerning a difference in performance between very similar pellets. In other words, the spread in group s...

...Too bad that red-dots don't have adjustable parallax like scopes.... The benefits would be negligible over the ranges pistol scopes are used and not worth the added cost and complexity. Keep the dot centered in the field of view and your dispersion due to parallax will me almost too small to mea...

Joe Korick mentioned above does just what you are looking for. Put his name into a search engine and you will find several good articles about what he does and has done. Properly done you will have a fine FT rifle, but all elements must be integrated properly. As you have already posted, your barrel...

Even though the target will not be in focus when you are looking at the front sight, it still needs to be seen with enough clarity to place the sight in a consistent position. As eyes age, it is not unusual to need so much correction to see the front sight that the target is so hopelessly blurred a...

The trick is to have the prescription made so you can also see the target. A sharp front sight might leave the target so out of focus that you can't see it at all...at least for my bad eyes. This is not obvious at first. My eye doctor and I had to experiement with different prescriptions to get the...

Yes, our sponsor sells them as do the other online airgun stores.JDF wrote:I believe he is using the GI bill, but money is still tight. Are left hand grips available for the Daisy 717?
They are not all that great, but they do let you hold the pistol! <grin>

Re: Daisy 717/747 Trigger and sight modification
[quote="wolskyr"]Jon,
I've got a copy on my web site at http://www.novatech-group.com/bullseye/daisy717.pdf
Will these mods work on the 747 as well? I have one on order and would like to know.
Thanks for the link.

Re: Daisy 717/747 Trigger and sight modification
Have a friend who is an ex-marine sniper and is going to college on his own nickel. He does not have an abundance of spare money and he is very interested in pistol shooting. I have a brand new 717 and I would like to do the trigger and sight modification that Don Nygor recommended for that airpist...
